Digicel’s Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, XX-Large Quick Pick Bundles

Terms and Conditions

 

1. Digicel’s “Quick Pick Bundles” (the “Bundle”) is available to all Digicel Prepaid customers (“Customers”).

 

2. The Bundle allows Customers to purchase an allotment of Data, Voice, Unlimited Text Messaging, Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging, 24 Hour Unlimited Social Add-on and Data/Anywhere Minutes Add-ons to be used as follows:

          i. Data - bundled megabytes (MB/GBs) of data.

         ii. Voice Calls - bundle minutes for local Digicel mobile calls.

        iii. Unlimited Text Messaging - unlimited text messages to text any local Digicel mobile number; available on select bundles as per Table 1.

        iv. Unlimited Free WhatsApp Messaging – unlimited free WhatsApp messaging for the duration of the bundle; excludes WhatsApp voice and video calls and is available on select bundles as per Table 1.

         v. Data Add-on – an allocation of megabytes (MB/GBs) of data that can be added as a bonus to a bundle.

        vi. Anywhere Minutes Add-on – an allocation of anywhere minutes that can be added as a bonus to a bundle.

        vii. 24 Hour Unlimited Social Add-on – access to browse Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat for 24 Hours; excludes in app voice calls, video calls and live streaming.

3. Bundles are only available in 4 weeks (28 days) duration with Customers having an option to bundle Data or Anywhere minutes Add-ons with their bundle for a subscription fee as per Table 1.

4. Table 1 below sets out the allocation of Data, Voice, Unlimited Text Messaging, Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging, 24 Hour Unlimited Social Add-on and Data/ Anywhere Minutes Add-ons for each of the Bundles.

5. All available Add-ons can only be purchased by Customers with an active Quick Pick Bundle. The duration of these Add-ons with the exception of the 24 Hour Unlimited Social Add-on will correspond with the duration of Quick Pick Bundle, that is, the add-on will expire at the same time as the bundle purchased before the add-on was activated.

6. Customers may only avail of free d’Music subscriptions with the purchase of specified bundles (please refer to Table 1).

7. Customers may activate/purchase the Bundle or buy additional add-ons for the Bundle when needed via the My Digicel App or by dialing service menu code *147# send from the Customer’s handset and follow the instructions received. Confirmation of the activation of the Bundle will be sent via text message. If activation of the Bundle fails, Customers will receive a text message indicating the reason for failure with instructions to re-activate.

8. Each Bundle or additional add-on purchased will expire based on the longest duration of active bundles purchased.

9. Select Customers may have access to a variant of Bundles not detailed in Table 1 which are listed in the “My Quick Pick Bundles” section when activating bundles via My Digicel App or *147#.

10. Customers must have sufficient credit to purchase/ re-subscribe to the bundle and to use the services (data, calls and texts) when allocations are depleted.

11. In order to increase the amount of included data Customers may activate a LTE/4G Data Add-on along with the Quick Pick Bundle. Any activated Data Add-on will expire at the same time as the associated Quick Pick Bundle. The total amount of available in bundle data will be the unused Quick Pick allowance at the time of Add-on activation plus the volume of data in the particular Add-on that is activated. Once this combined in bundle data allowance is used Customers must re-subscribe for a Quick Pick Bundle or activate another LTE/4G Data Add-on.

12. If the Bundle expires and the customer does not purchase another Bundle, the Customer will be charged for data, calls and text messages under the One Rate Plan rate or Pay As You Go data rate or any other rate plan they may be subscribed as becomes available from time to time

13. The Bundle does not apply when Customers are roaming and is only valid when Customers are making calls in Jamaica. Customers who are roaming will be charged the applicable roaming rates.

14. The Bundle rules are as follows;

              i. The Bundle will automatically renew at the end of the relevant period subject to the Customer having on their account the appropriate value of credit available for deduction by Digicel. In the event that the Customer has insufficient credit on their account at the time of renewal then the renewal will fail and the Bundle will expire. Customers will then be required to re-subscribe to reactivate their Quick Pick Bundle in order to benefit from the Offer.

              ii. Unused Voice bundles will rollover when the Quick Pick Bundle is automatically renewed.

             iii. All unused Data Bundles from your Quick Pick Bundle will roll over when:

                        a. The Bundle is automatically renewed;

                        b. The Bundle is upgraded to another Quick Pick bundle before expiry;

                        c. The Bundle is repurchased before expiry.

              iv. Data rollover is unlimited once the above criteria (14.iii.) is satisfied. Voice rollover has a maximum accumulated threshold of 50,000 minutes. Outside of this, if the customer re-subscribes during Digicel’s ‘grace period’ published on the Digicel website from time to time (currently 24 hours after bundle expiry), rollover will be capped at 12GBs and 4000 minutes. Bundle roll over will not apply where the Data Plan/Quick Pick Bundle has expired and a customer re-subscribes at a date exceeding Digicel’s grace period published on the Digicel website.

              v. Once the Plan expires and you don’t repurchase another plan before the grace period (currently 24hrs), unused bundled data and voice will no longer be available. Data Pay As You Go (PAYG) rates per MB/GB will apply for data usage where the customer has not subscribed to a Data Plan/Quick Pick Bundle and has chosen to opt-in to Pay As You Go. One Rate Plan rates will apply to voice and text message usage.

             vi. The applicable One Rate Plan Rates are specified on Digicel’s website.

            vii. Pay As You Go rate per MB/GB charges are specified on Digicel’s website.

15. Customers shall pay all applicable taxes (including Telephone Call Tax (TCT) and GCT on TCT) per minute or part thereof, for all calls made from their Main Account balance. Customers will not be charged TCT nor GCT on calls made from voice bundle (minutes) while on a plan or for bonus call credit where applicable, unless otherwise stated in the Terms and Conditions of the bonus call credit offer.

16. Digicel reserves the right to at any time in its sole discretion, to modify or discontinue the Plans/Bundles with or without notice or to vary or cancel the terms and conditions of the Plans. In  the  event  of Digicel  giving  notice  to Customers of any such changes to or cancellation of the  Plans,  it shall  suffice for Digicel to give Customers notice  via  messages to customer’s handset/device or to post such notification on Digicel’s website.  Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.

17. The terms and conditions which apply to any plan are those published on the Digicel website at the time that you activate a plan. These will only apply for the plan duration. If you manually or automatically activate a plan that you have previously activated then the terms and conditions that apply are those published at the time of your most recent activation.


18. The general Terms and Conditions governing the relationship between Digicel and Digicel FLEX Customers remain applicable in addition to any other terms and conditions of use of any of Digicel’s other services including Digicel’s data service and Prepaid Calling plans.
