Digicel Home Entertainment Bill Explained

We have made understanding your Digicel Home entertainment bill a whole lot easier!  This quick video demonstrates in an easy and concise way the following details:

You should receive your first bill within 15 days of your service being connected, and then your bill will be issued every month thereafter on your billing date.

 

Your monthly bills will be sent by e-mail to the address you provided during sign up. Your electronic bill will include a full detailed breakdown of all purchases, and calls made. To access your bill online, please click here.

If you opted to have your bills sent by the post this will be sent to you through your local postal service.

 

What if I do not have an e-mail address?

We encourage all of our customers to receive an electronic version of the Digicel home entertainment bill; it is simple, flexible and better for the environment.

 If you do not have an email address we would encourage you to sign up for one, alternatively your bills can be sent to you via post.

If you have not been receiving your bills via email or the post, contact us at 145 from your Digicel mobile or 1-888-935-5050 from any local number so that your email and mailing address can be verified. 

 

Your first bill will include some one time only charges but don’t worry assuming you don’t make any further changes to your products and services the subsequent bills will be as per the package you have purchased.

You are billed for package charges a month in advance, on the first bill however you will also be charged on a prorated basis for the part of the month you had service before your first bill generated. This is a one-time only occurrence.

Why is my bill amount different from my agreed package cost?

A. Your monthly billed amount will be standard (+ GCT) if there are no additional charges incurred due to added services during the billing period. The following are examples of promotions/services offered that will affect your billed amount:

  • Network Personal Video Recorder (NPVR) feature is free for the first three months of service, but attracts a charge of $1000 thereafter
  • Promotional Offer Expiry
  • Call Charges outside of your allowance
  • Video on Demand (VOD)
  • Purchase of additional equipment

You will require your 12 digit Digicel account number when making a payment. The account number is stated at the top of each page of the bill, and is also located on the inside front cover of the “Getting Started Guide” booklet.

The quickest and easiest way to pay your Digicel bill, is using our online payment facility. Payments will typically reach your account within 30 minutes of the payment being made and attracts no additional charge.

Your services will be disconnected for non-payment if there is an outstanding amount on your account.  A reminder notification will be sent when your bill is due for payment, and also when your payment becomes overdue. 

A late payment fee will also be charged if the full payment is not received by the payment due date.

If you are having any difficulty making your payments please contact our Digicel Customer Care as soon as possible. 

Yes they can, but you will need to call our Customer Care team to have them added to your Digicel account. Ensure they are also knowledgeable of your security question and answer as this is required when requesting adjustments to your account.

Note.  There are changes which can only be requested by the account holder.

Eg. Name change and change of ownership.

Sure. Our self-care portal allows you to manage your account details, make payments, view your payment history and make changes to your service. To access this service you are required to have a Digicel ID.
