Port-au-Prince, Haiti – Friday May 3rd 2019: Digicel, the largest telecommunications service provider in Haiti, celebrates thirteen years of operations in the country. Digicel would not be what it is without its dear customer’s loyalty. The company wanted to reciprocate the love it received from her subscribers during its 13rd year by launching a "Customer Appreciation" campaign called #Digicel13LaneAvèW from April 21st to May 3rd - which is 13 days before its anniversary -.
This campaign was launched with two main things in mind: Sharing and giving on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, customers were treated with gifts like Gigabytes, minutes to call abroad and Smartphones. Last but not least, a daily draw designated one of the active customers since 2006 who each benefited from 13,000 Gourdes of credit.
“In 13 years, we have come a long way and have lived many things together. We want to reaffirm ourselves as a company that is interested in the country in which it operates and contributes to its sustainable development.’’ said Maarten Boute, CEO of Digicel Haiti.
“Throughout these years, Digicel has not stopped investing in the modernization of its network in order to offer a quality service meeting the renewed telecommunications needs of the Haitian population. We are on the cusp of a new and very important investment phase to equip the country with a modern 4G LTE network.’’, Continued Maarten Boute.
“On the occasion of this thirteenth anniversary, I thank all Digicel employees and our partners, who dedicate themselves every day to enable us to offer the very best in the telecommunications sector in Haiti. A big thank you to our subscribers who have chosen the Digicel.”, Concluded Maarten.
Through its various social works, Digicel has also contributed to building a healthy, fair and equitable society.
