Digicel’s “D’Bess Christmas” Promotion and Gameshow
Below are the Terms and Conditions for active Digicel subscribers to participate in Digicel’s “D’Bess Christmas” Gameshow and Christmas Promotion for a chance to win millions of dollars.
Requirements to be eligible to take part in Digicel’s “D’Bess Christmas” Promotion and Gameshow:
QUALIFICATION
Prepaid Customers
Enter by simply activating and being on any mobile data plan.
Postpaid Customers
Enter by paying your postpaid bill on time and in full.
MAIN COMPETITION
Gameshow
Three Gameshows are scheduled in the promotion, corresponding to the qualifying periods outlined below. Any customer activating and on a data plan during these periods is eligible for the draw. Weekly, two customers will be randomly chosen to participate in Digicel’s “D’Bess Christmas” gameshow, offering the chance to win up to $3.6 million.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees of Digicel Guyana or any associated company of Digicel Guyana and their immediate families, persons connected with the competition /prize draw and their immediate families i.e. prize sponsors, campaign talents, vendors, wholesalers & their agents are not eligible to enter the competition.
OTHER CONDITIONS
Digicel Guyana Reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition or the rules without notice in the event of any actual or anticipated breach of the competition or any other event outside of Digicel Guyana's reasonable control which impacts the fairness of the competition.
In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, conduct, results and all other matters relating to a competition, Digicel’s decision of who are the winner(s) shall be the final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
By entering the competition, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current, accurate and complete. Digicel Guyana reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
Digicel Guyana assumes that by reading the publication or by using the website and entering the competition (and you warrant that) you are aged 18 or over.
Digicel Guyana assumes that the subscriber who presents his/her handset with the qualifying plan activation/s after they have been notified of being one of the winners, is the legitimate & the sole owner of same, which must be presented to our office along with identification details to claim prizes.
Prizes are non-transferable and there is no other cash or any other alternative offered by Digicel. Digicel Guyana reserves the rights to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time.
Digicel Guyana reserves the rights to disqualifying any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of the rules.

3. How do I qualify?
Activate and be on any data plan within the qualifying periods to participate in the draw. The number of entries earned is based on the duration of your data plan. For example, a 30-day plan earns you 30 entries into the draw.
4. Do I need to TopUp to be part of the promotion?
No. Topping Up will not qualify you for the promotion, but activating any data plan will.
5. Does this promotion apply to both postpaid and pre- paid customers?
Yes, the promotion is applicable to both Prepaid and Postpaid subscribers. Prepaid customers need to activate a data plan and Postpaid customers need to pay their bill on time and in full.
6. What are the qualifying periods?
November 17th – November 30th
December 1st – December 14th
December 15th – January 4th
7. Can I activate a data plan online to be a part of the promotion?
Yes, you can. Any data plan activated online also qualifies you to be a part of the drawings.
8. If my relatives or friends overseas activate a plan for me, will I qualify?
Yes. If you receive an online data plan from a relative or friend, you will qualify.
9. If I am gifted a data plan, will I qualify?
Yes, you will.
10. If I gift someone a data plan, will I qualify?
No, you will not qualify but the recipient of the data plan will receive an entry to the promotion.
11. How long is my entry valid for when I activate a data plan to be on the gameshow to win millions?
Your entry is valid for every day you are on a data plan during a qualifying period. For example, if you activate and are on a 7-day plan for 7 days during the qualifying period, you will have 7 entries. If you are on a data plan daily during the entire promotional period, you have the best chance of being randomly selected.
12. Can customers qualify more than once?
Yes, customers qualify to be part of the draw for every day they are on a data plan during a qualifying period. The longer your data plan, the more chances you have of being randomly selected to be on the gameshow to win millions of dollars.
13. What will I win if I have activated a data plan and was selected to be on the gameshow for that period?
Upon random selection and verification by Digicel as a winner, you become a contestant on the game show. Here, you'll Spin the Cash Wheel for a chance to win up to 3.6 million dollars. Detailed requirements will be provided upon acknowledgment of your win.
14. Will I qualify if I activate a plan after taking a Credit Advance?
Yes, you will.
15. Will I qualify if I activate a plan after receiving a Credit U?
Yes, you will.
16. How much can a contestant win once they are randomly selected to be part of the gameshow?
Each contestant can win at least 1 million dollars and a maximum of 3.6 million dollars.
