What is the Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice Plan?

Digicel will be giving prepaid customers the opportunity to enjoy Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice. This promotion is available from March 1st 2018 for a limited time. Digicel reserves the right to withdraw this plan at any time.

 

How much does it cost to activate the Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice plan? 

The Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice plan is available for ECD3.00

Is the Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice Plan available to all customers?

The promotion is available to all Digicel prepaid customers.

 

How does the Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice Plan work?

The Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice Plan is a separate plan and it’s accessible to customers with an active plan or without a plan.

 

Can I activate more than one Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice Plan at the same time?

No. You will not be able to activate more than one Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice at the same time. However, you may activate another Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice as soon as the first one expires.

 

Does my Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice Plan include auto-renewal?

Your Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice Plan will not auto-renew and will expire 1 day after the activation. When your plan ends you´ll need to buy a new Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice Plan to stay connected.

 

Will I be able to access other applications, websites or WhatsApp video calls with my Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice?

No. To protect your unused credit balance you must purchase a standard data plan if you wish to access other applications, websites or WhatsApp video calls during the validity period of the Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice.

 

Am I able to use my Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice Messaging and Voice while roaming?

No. Unfortunately if you activate the Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice Plan and you travel outside of your country (roaming) you will be on standard data roaming charges.

 

Will I be able to browse or stream on YouTube using the Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice plan?

No. You will not be able to browse or use YouTube with the Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice Plan. Browsing or streaming will be deducted from available bundles.

 

Will I be able to activate the WhatsApp Messaging and Voice Plan with a Blackberry device?

Yes. The Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice Plan is available to users of both Blackberry and Non-Blackberry devices.

 

If I have an active plan and I buy the Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice Messaging and Voice Plan, will my Plan remain?

Yes. Both plans will act independently, expiration date and usage will not interfere.

 

Will I receive a message to tell me when my Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice Plan is about to expiry?

Yes. You will receive a notification message 8 hours before the expiration time as shown below

“Your Unlimited WhatsApp Messaging and Voice plan will expire at 11:59pm tonight. Stay connected and take advantage of this limited time offer again at p.mydigicel.net or dial *140#”.
