Digicel International is offering customers more rewards in the Top Up & Activate a Plan to Win 2022 Promotion (the “Promotion”), by providing all Digicel International consumers and recipients of their plans or top up with the equal opportunity to win more prizes between April 26th to May 31st

 

These Frequently Asked Questions (“FAQs”) and Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in the Promotion for chances to win certain prizes on through the Digicel International Platform. You should read these FAQs and Terms carefully before participating in the Promotion.

 

“We” or “us” means Digicel International, “I” or “you” means the person accessing or using the Digicel International platform to participate in the Promotion (and “my” and “your” shall have the same meaning).

 

By participating in the Promotion through sending top up or bundles to loved ones or by receiving top up or bundles from loved ones, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

These Terms incorporate the BiP Terms of Use and Privacy Policy which you can access via the App.

 

If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms, or if you are under the age of thirteen (13), you should stop participating in the Promotion immediately.

 

1.     What is the Digicel International Top Up or Activate a Bundle Promotion?

The Promotion gives you chances to win prizes by sending a top up or plan from Digicel International from our international territories (USA, UK and Canada) to a friend or family platform in any of the listed participating markets in the West Indies Region. And a daily prize for the receiver by activating a bundle with your top up.

2.     When does the Promotion start and end?

The Promotion is valid from May 3rd, 2022 through to May 31st, 2022 (the “Promotional Period”).

3.     Can I take part in the Promotion?

All customers who send top up from Digicel International from USA, Canada and UK to their loved ones in the West Indies Regions will participate. And all local customer who receive top up or bundles from consumers who purchased these products through Digicel International are eligible to participate.

 

 

 

Additionally, you may participate if you reside in one of the following countries (“Participating Markets”):

PARTICIPATING MARKETS

Antigua

Grenada

St. Lucia

Anguilla

Montserrat

St. Vincent

Dominica

St. Kitts

 

 

 

 

 

4.     Who cannot participate in the Promotion?

The following Digicel Customers are excluded from participating in the Promotion:

a.      Postpaid Corporate & Business account customers;

b.      Any person who, at any time on or after August 1st, 2021, was or is a director, officer, employee, or agent of Digicel Grenada or any of their respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, or affiliated companies, franchisees or service agencies, independent contractors or suppliers of services to Digicel Grenada;

c.      Families of Employees;

d.      Persons under the age of eighteen (18).

e.      Postpaid customers with overdue amounts.

f.       Persons who do not reside in Grenada.

 

5.     How does the Promotion work?                                                                          

           

From the Sender Side (Diaspora) the promotion works as follow:

Follow these steps to participate in the Promotion:

Step 1: Send a Top Up or Plan of $20 or more to one of the Participating markets mentioned above.

Step 2: Send the top up or plan from the USA, UK or Canada using one of our three main channels Digicel International website, Digicel International App or any of Digicel Distributors

Step 5: The winner of prizes will be randomly selected and contacted via email or app notification with the next steps ion how to redeem hers/his prize.

Prizes: As the sender you will have a chance to win an Amazon gift card from $10, $20 and $30 dlrs

 

6.     From the Receiver Side (Local Market) the promotion works as follow:

Step 1: Send a Top Up or Plan of $20 or more to one of the Participating markets mentioned above.

Step 2: Send the top up or plan from the USA, UK or Canada using one of our three main channels Digicel International website, Digicel International App or any of Digicel Distributors

Step 5: The winner of prizes will be randomly selected and contacted via email or app notification with the next steps ion how to redeem hers/his prize.

7.     Will I be notified when to participate?

Yes.  During the Promotional Period you will receive regular messages such as push notifications, SMS, digital ads and through our website.

 

8.     What types of prizes can I win?

Customer in the diaspora can win the following prizes:

·        Amazon Vouchers with three different denominations ($10, $20 and $30)

Customers in the local markets can win the following prizes:

·        Gas Vouchers

·        Supermarket Vouchers

·        Prime Plus Bundles

·        $50 Cash

·        Free Credit

·        Handsets

What do I need to know about collecting my prize if I am a winner?

If you are the Sender

(1)   If you win a prize, you will receive an email or app notification with the Amazon Gift Card notifying you the amount that you have won.

 

If you are the receiver

(2)   If you win a prize, you will receive a phone call from one of our representatives notifying you and telling you how and when and how you can collect it.

 

(3)   Once you have spoken to our representative, you will have up to seven (7) days to collect your prize at the local Digicel Head Office if you are in the West Indies or to provide your information so it can be delivered to you electronically if you are in the diaspora or it will be forfeited.

 

(4)   You agree that if you are a winner, you will permit photographs of you to be taken and for your image, likeness and name (your “Likeness”) to be used for public relations and marketing purposes free of cost, including the publishing of your Likeness on social media, mainstream media and other platforms that we may choose.

 

(5)   If you are unable to attend the scheduled prize presentation, you may send a representative on your behalf with appropriate identification for you as well as that representative along with a signed letter by you authorizing the collection.

 

(6)   Warranty and support information, where applicable, will be included in product packaging.

 

 

 

 

Additional Terms and Conditions

A.    This Promotion is offered for your personal use and not for commercial use and you agree not to sell any prizes claimed through this Promotion.

 

B.    You are required to use a compatible smartphone to run the App and participate in the Promotion. A compatible smartphone is an Android (OS 4.0 or higher) or Apple (iOS 2.0 or higher) smartphone.

 

C.    We reserve the right to disqualify you or terminate this offer if, in our sole opinion, the Promotion is being abused, such abuse to include but not be limited to selling or attempts to sell the prizes, whether on a commercial basis or otherwise, general abuse deemed as an attempt to undermine the integrity of our services.

 

D.    You are solely responsible for all associated fees and costs incurred by you for claiming and collection of prizes and for connectivity and data usage in relation to your use of the App.

 

E.     Please note that once roaming, you will not be able to participate in the Promotion.

 

F.     We reserve the right to modify, extend or discontinue (permanently or temporarily), this Promotion being offered to you, at our discretion.

 

G.    If a prize is unavailable, we may, in our discretion, substitute the prize with an alternative prize of equal value and/or specification.

 

H.    We also reserve the right to award any forfeited prize to another random participant of the Promotion who landed on the correct prize for that day;

 

I.       Prizes are not exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash.

 

J.     We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Digicel website or the App. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.

 

K.    Any personal data relating to you will be used solely for the purposes of this Promotion by Digicel and/or by any agent appointed by us to assist with running the Promotion on our behalf and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose without your prior consent. By entering this Promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data by Digicel and/or any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion for the purposes of administration of the Promotion (including publishing your full name and county and/or disclosing it to third parties on request if you are a winner) and any other purposes to which you have consented. L.     Except in the event of its negligence, neither Digicel, nor any other person or party associated with the Promotion, their associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors or any of its personnel involved in the Promotion, shall be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered, death or personal injury suffered or sustained, or costs incurred, arising from either participation in the Promotion or from claiming or collecting any reward.
