These MyCash App “MyCash App Transact & win promotion” (the “Promotion”) (the “MyCash App Transact & win Promotion”) Frequently Asked Questions (“FAQ”) and Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in the Promotion for chances to win cash prizes on the My Digicel App or MyCash App mobile application (the “App”). You should read these FAQs and Terms carefully before participating in the Promotion.
 

“We” or “us” means Digicel (Fiji) PTE Limited, a company registered under the laws of the Republic of the Fiji Islands with registered offices Level 1, Digicel house, Nabua, Fiji

 

References to “we”, “our” and “us” in these Terms include our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) from time to time.
 

“I” or “You” means the person accessing or using the App to participate in the Promotion (and “my” and “your” shall have the same meaning).
 

By participating in the Promotion on the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
 

These Terms incorporate the MyDigicel App & MyCash App. Terms, Conditions, and Privacy Policy, which you can access via the App.
 

If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms, you should stop participating in the Promotion immediately.

 

Additional Terms and Conditions
 

A.     This Promotion is offered for your personal use and not for commercial use and you agree not to sell any rewards redeemed through this Promotion.


B.      We reserve the right to disqualify you or terminate this offer if, in our sole opinion, the Promotion is being abused, such abuse to include but not be limited to selling or attempts to sell the prizes, whether on a commercial basis or otherwise, general abuse deemed as an attempt to undermine the integrity of our services.


C.     You are solely responsible for all associated fees and costs incurred by you for redemption of Prizes and for connectivity and data usage in relation to your use of the App. Be reminded that once roaming, you will not be able to use any data from your local prepaid or select postpaid plans.


D.     The selected winners must have complied with these Terms and Conditions to enter and be on an active, qualifying contract with no accounts held with Digicel being in arrears to be eligible to win the prizes.


E.      We reserve the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily), this Promotion being offered to you at our discretion.


F.      If a prize is unavailable, we may, in our discretion, substitute the prize with an alternative prize to the equal value and/or specification.


G.    Prizes are not exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash.


H.     We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Digicel website or the App. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.


I.        Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely for the purposes of this promotion by Digicel and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the promotion on behalf of the Digicel and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose without the individual’s prior consent. By entering this Promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data by Digicel and/or any agent appointed by it to assist with running the promotion for the purposes of administration of the promotion (including publishing your full name and county and/or disclosing it to third parties on request if you are the winner) and any other purposes to which you have consented. J.       Winners may be required to take part in related publicity, including (without limitation) publication of the name and image of a promotion winner along with their winning entry via Digicel’s website, social media and other press and media channels. No additional payment will be given for this.


K.      In addition to these Terms and Conditions, you remain bound by our MyCash App Terms and Conditions of Use.

1.      What is the promotional period?

The promotion is valid from, 23th May, 2022 12:00AM through to 11th July, 2022 11:59PM.

 

2.    Who is eligible to enter the Promotion (the “Eligible Customers”)?

In order to be eligible for the Promotion you must be a registered Digicel customer with a prepaid Digicel SIM.


The following customers are excluded from participating in the Promotion:
 

a.      Postpaid Corporate & Business account customers;


b.      Employees/families of employees, employees of affiliates companies associated with this promotion;


c.      Postpaid customers with overdue amounts.

 

 

3.    How does the Promotion work?

Every time you use any of  MyCash App features mentioned above, you receive an entry to the draw for the cash prizes.

 

4.    When can a customer participate in the Promotion?

The promotion is open from 23th May 2022 12:00 AM through to 11th July 2022 11:59 PM, draw for the three cash prizes will take place within 5 working days from the promotion close date.

 

5.    How many times can a customer win?

One customer can win a maximum of one prize.

 

6.    What can a customer win?

A customer can win any of the below:

7.    When will the prizes be drawn?

The prizes will be drawn on Digicel’s electronic draw platform, all numbers that qualify during the promotion period will entered into the draw and a winner will be selected at random.

 

8.      Will customers be notified when they have received a prize?

Yes, winners will be notified via telephone call from a Digicel representative and draw winners will be announced on social media platforms.

 

Prizes redemption process and use:

Winners will be contacted by a Digicel representative to validate entry and ownership of phone number entered:
 

i.        Once the winners have contacted Digicel and their entries validated, their prize will be made available for collection from their nearest Digicel Outlet, between the hours of  [8:00AM Monday -3:30PM Friday]


ii.        Customers are encouraged to collect their prize within 5 business days (Monday to Friday)


iii.        Prizes may not be transferred or exchanged for another product.


iv.        Digicel reserves the right to award any forfeited prizes to another participant in the Promotion and to substitute Prizes where reasonably required.


v.        Save in the event of its negligence, neither Digicel, nor any other person or party associated with the Promotion, their associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors or any of its personnel involved in the Promotion, shall be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered, death or personal injury suffered or sustained, or costs incurred, arising from either participation in the Promotion or from claiming any Reward.  

 

9.    What will customers need in order to claim Prizes?

Winners must present a valid Government issued photo ID (Passport, Voters’ identification card or Driver’s License) and the Digicel Phone number. Customers will be required to complete and sign a Redemption Form confirming their receipt of their prize AND a Consent Release Form authorizing the use of their picture (where they chose to do so) on Social Media.
