1.    What is the promotional period?
The promotion is valid from, 22nd  September 2021 12:00AM through to 31st October, 2021 12, 2020 11:59PM FJT, where entries into the promotion will be accepted. With the draw for the grand prize on the 1st November.

 

2.    Who is eligible to enter the Promotion (the “Eligible Customers”)?
In order to be eligible for the Promotion you must be a registered Digicel customer with a prepaid Digicel SIM.

The following customers are excluded from participating in the Promotion:

a.      Postpaid Corporate & Business account customers;

b.      Employees/families of employees, employees of affiliates companies associated with this promotion;

c.      Postpaid customers with overdue amounts;

d.     any person who does not reside in Fiji; or

e.     Children above the age of 12 years may participate with parental consent.

4.    How does the MyDigicel App Opt-in & Win Promotion work?

i. You as a customer must make plan purchases from MyDigicel App to have their your mobile number entered into the draw for the Daily and Grand Cash prizesPrizes.

ii. One Opt-in is counted as one entry for the given number, the more opt-ins made by you gives you more entries into the draw.

                       

5.    How does a customer participate in the Promotion?
You as a customer must make plan purchasespurchase the Eligible Plans from using the MyDigicel App to have your number entered into the draw for the Daily and Grand Cash Prizes.

 

6.    When to participate in Promotion? 

Promotion is open and entries will be accepted from 22nd of September to the 31st October with the First Daily Cash draw of $100 from 1st October, then everyday until the 13th October then the final Grand draw for FJ$1000 to take place on the 1st November.

 

7.    How many times can a customer win?
One customer can win a maximum of one prize.

 

8.    Prize Pool

FJ$100 Cash x 13 daily for 13 days.

9.    When will the prizes be drawn?
FJ$100 prizes will be drawn daily from 1st - 13th October; Grand-prize of FJ$1000 will be drawn on 1st November, via an electronic draw platform.

 

10.    Will customers be notified when they have received a prize?

Yes, winners will be notified. Prizes redemption process and use:


Winners will be contacted by a Digicel representative to validate entry and ownership of phone number entered:


i. Once the winners have been contacted by Digicel and their entries are validated, their prize will be made available for collection from their nearest Digicel Outlet, between the hours of  [8:00AM – 3:00PM: Monday -–3:30PM  Friday.]


ii. Customers are encouraged to collect their prize within 5 business days (Monday to Friday). 


iii. Prizes may not be transferred or exchanged for another product. 


iv. Digicel reserves the right to award any forfeited prizes to another participant in the Promotion and to substitute Prizes where reasonably required.


v. Save in the event of its negligence, neither Digicel, nor any other person or party associated with the Promotion, their associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors or any of its personnel involved in the Promotion, shall be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered, death or personal injury suffered or sustained, or costs incurred, arising from either participation in the Promotion or from claiming any Reward.  

 

11.    What will customers winners need in order to claim Other Prizestheir prize?

You must still have an active Digicel mobile number at the time of collection and you must present valid proof of identification, which clearly indicates your age and that you are a legal resident of Fiji. You agree that if you are a winner, you will permit photographs of you to be taken and for your image, likeness and name (your “Likeness”) to be used for public relations and marketing purposes free of cost, including the publishing of your Likeness on social media, mainstream media, the Facebook App and other platforms that we may choose. If you are unable to collect your prize, you may send a representative on your behalf with appropriate identification and a signed letter by you authorizing the collection on your behalf.
 

Winners must present a valid Government issued photo ID (passport, voters’ identification card or driver’s licence) and the Digicel Phone number. Customer will be required to complete and sign a Redemption Form confirming their receipt of their prize and a Consent Release Form authorizing the use of their picture (where they chose to do so) on Social Media.



 

These My Digicel “MyDigicel App Opt-in & Win Promotion” (the “MyDigicel App Opt-in & Win” or “Promotion”) (the “MyDigicel Opt-in & Win Promotion”) Frequently asked Questions (“FAQ”) and Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in the Promotion for chances to win certain prizes on the My Digicel mobile application (the “App”). You should read these FAQs and Terms carefully before participating in the Promotion.
 

“We” or “us” means Digicel (Fiji) PTE Limited, a company registered under the laws of the republic of the Fiji Islands with its registered offices office at Level 1, Digicel house5 Vuna Road, Nabua, Fiji

References to “we”, “our” and “us” in these Terms includes our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) from time to time.


“I” or “You” means you as the person accessing or using the App to participate in the Promotion (and “my” and “your” shall have the same meaning).

By participating in the Promotion on the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


These Terms incorporate the MyDigicel Terms, Conditions, and Privacy Policy, which you can access via the App.


If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms, you should stop participating in the Promotion immediately.


Additional Terms and Conditions
 

A. This Promotion is offered for your personal use and not for commercial use and you agree not to sell any prizes claimed through this Promotion.

 

B. You are required to use a compatible smartphone to run the App and participate in the Promotion. A compatible smartphone is an Android (OS 4.0 or higher) or Apple (iOS 2.0 or higher) smartphone.

 

C. We reserve the right to disqualify you or terminate this offer if, in our sole opinion, the Promotion is being abused, whether on a commercial basis or otherwise, general abuse deemed as an attempt to undermine the integrity of our services.

 

D. You are solely responsible for all associated fees and costs incurred by you for claiming and collection of prizes and for connectivity and data usage in relation to your use of the App. 

 

E. Please note that once roaming, you will not be able to participate in the Promotion.

 

F. We reserve the right to modify, extend or discontinue (permanently or temporarily), this Promotion being offered to you, at our discretion.

 

G. We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Digicel website or the Facebook App. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.

 

H. Any personal data relating to you will be used solely for the purposes of this Promotion by Digicel and/or by any agent appointed by us to assist with running the Promotion on our behalf and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose without your prior consent. By entering this Promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data by Digicel and/or any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion for the purposes of administration of the Promotion (including publishing your full name and country and/or disclosing it to third parties on request if you are a winner) and any other purposes to which you have consented.
