Wednesday February 24th, 2016, Suva- Fiji:   Digicel announced today that it has dropped rates for international calls from Fiji to allow people to communicate more with their family and friends after the devastation caused by TC Winston, which hit the Fiji Islands on Saturday.

Digicel Fiji’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Darren McLean said, “Our thoughts and prayers are with all the communities affected in Fiji and the Digicel family stands ready to assist where possible. This includes working with our Pacific neighbour’s, and our valued partners to provide heavily discounted calling to and from Fiji”.

“We understand the impact of natural disasters on island nations and also the importance of planning so that we can react quickly to help get recovery efforts underway. The Digicel family is standing #TogetherForFiji and doing all it can to help assist with recovery efforts”.
