February 24th 2016 - CALLS DISCOUNTED TO HELP GET FAMILIES BACK IN TOUCH
Wednesday February 24th, 2016, Suva- Fiji: Digicel announced today that it has dropped rates for international calls from Fiji to allow people to communicate more with their family and friends after the devastation caused by TC Winston, which hit the Fiji Islands on Saturday.
Digicel Fiji’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Darren McLean said, “Our thoughts and prayers are with all the communities affected in Fiji and the Digicel family stands ready to assist where possible. This includes working with our Pacific neighbour’s, and our valued partners to provide heavily discounted calling to and from Fiji”.
For our Digicel family within Fiji, they can call sixteen overseas destinations from now until Monday for only FJ$0.10 per minute. Participating countries include: Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, China, India, UK, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga, Vanuatu and Nauru.
