DIGICEL PLAY ADDS NICK JR TO ITS FAMILY PROGRAMMING

Kingston, Jamaica – Friday, 23rd September, 2016: Children and parents are in for a treat with the announcement that Digicel Play has now added the popular Nick Jr. channel to its kids’ programming in Barbados, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago as of September 15, 2016.
Nick Jr. is a kids’ channel that provides a unique combination of smart and fun content for preschoolers in an environment that kids love and parents trust to provide their children with educational benefits. The channel features a mix of originally produced programming and concurrently aired kids series aimed at children between 2 and 5 years old. The channel is currently available to approximately 75 million pay television households in the United States.
Children can get immersed in and learn from several exciting and educational programmes – from joining Dora the Explorer in her animated world, meeting the lovable and cheeky little Peppa Pig and her brother George, taking on math and science problems with Blaze and the Monster Machines to following the magical genie-in-training twin sisters, Shimmer and Shine. Other exciting programmes include Paw Patrol, Peter Rabbit, Bubble Guppies, Diego and Team Umizoomi.
