Lawrence joined Digicel in 2002 and held a number of financial and operational positions within the Group until his appointment to the role of Group Chief Financial Officer in March 2006 – a role he held until December 2017.
Lawrence qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in 1994 and post-qualification, he joined Grafton Group Plc, an Irish-based publicly quoted company. Prior to joining Digicel in 2002, Lawrence held a senior finance role with Esat Telecom in Ireland, where he was responsible for all financial reporting requirements of Esat Telecom and played a key role in the consolidation of the company’s business and consumer divisions.
