What are LTE GO POSTPAID plans:

Digicel’s LTE GO POSTPAID plans are available to all new and existing Digicel customers. You can choose from 4 types of plans each with Unlimited* Digicel talk, Unlimited* Digicel text, assigned OFFNET minutes, assigned Digi Data for our Playgo App and SportsMax App use and lots more.

 

How much does it cost to activate a LTE GO POSTPAID plan?

How do I sign up for an LTE GO POSTPAID plan?

To activate a LTE GO POSTPAID plan visit an authorized Digicel store with the required documents.

 

Are these LTE GO  POSTPAD plans available to all  customers?

Yes, any customer can sign up for a postpaid Freedom Plan. Both existing and new customers can sign up for a postpaid freedom plan by just visiting an authorized Digicel store.

 

What documents do I need to sign up to an LTE GO POSTPAID plan?

To activate a Postpaid plan, customers are required to take:

  • A valid form of ID
  • Proof of residence (preferably a utility bill)
  • The deposit for the plan of choice

 

How do I activate a voice or data add-on?

You can purchase a Voice or Data Add-on exclusively from the My Digicel App p.mydigicel.net. The cost of the Add-on purchased will be reflected on your monthly bill.

 

Am I able to use Whatsapp and other Social Media Applications with my Data Allotment?

Yes, once you are within your allotted data (as designated by the plan type) you will have access to WhatsApp and other Social Media services without additional charge. However if you are out of your data allotments, the use of social media services will be charged at PAYGO rates.

 

How can I check the data and talk balance of my plan?

You can check your remaining minutes and data by using the MyDigicel app a.mydigicel.net

 

What is Digi Data?

Digi Data is an amount of data which is allocated for a customer’s use of Playgo and SportsMax. Once this allocation is fully depleted, the use of PlayGo and SportsMax will decrement the balance of the Open Data assigned to the plan.  

 

Will I be notified when my Digi Data is fully depleted?

You will be notified via a text message that your Digi Data is fully depleted and that you can continue to use PlayGo and or SportsMax and that the continued use will come from your main data allotment or you will be charged PAYGO rates if the main data allotment is also fully depleted.

 

What are OFFNET Minutes?

This is an allotment of minutes available in each of the four LTE GO POSTPAID plans which allows calls to the other network provider in Dominica, without additional charges. The minutes used will be depleted from the related plan allocation.

 

What is ONNET Minutes?
This is an allotment of minutes available in each of the four LTE GO POSTPAID plans which allows calls on the Digicel Networkr in Dominica, without additional charges. The minutes used will be depleted from the related plan allocation.

 

What is Anywhere Minutes?

This is an allotment of minutes available in each of the four LTE GO POSTPAID plans which allows calls across any network wthin Dominica, USA, CANADA, United Kingdom landlines & other Digicel territories., without additional charges. The minutes used will be depleted from the related plan allocation.

 

What will happen when my data and talk allotment depletes?

To improve your experience, overage charges are open on all our LTE GO POSTPAID plans. Once your data or talk allotments are exhausted you will be charged at PAYGO/OUT OF BUNDLE rates. You can also decide to block overage charges on your account by visiting one of our Digicel stores. In order to continue using the data and voice services which have been depleted, you would be required to by a voice or data add-on as needed. One of our customer care agents will assist you.

 

Which countries are considered Digicel Territories for the purpose of anywhere minutes?

With all of our LTE GO POSTPAID Plans, you can feel free to call to your loved ones to the following destinations without extra charges once you are within your Plan’s Anywhere Minutes allotment:

Will I be able to purchase additional Voice or Data Add-ons to my postpaid plan?

How do I activate a Voice or Data Add-on?

You can purchase a Voice or Data Add-on exclusively from the My Digicel App. The cost of the Add-on purchased will be reflected on your monthly bill.

 

Can I purchase an Add-on if I have reached my credit limit?

Yes, you are able to purchase add-ons even if you have reached your credit limit.

 

Can I have multiple Add-ons active at the same time?

Yes, you can buy up to 2 Add-ons at the same time however it cannot be the same type of Add-on.

 

Can I buy multiple Data Add-ons or Multiple Voice Add-ons?

No, unfortunately you can only purchase one of each type of Add-on at a time.

 

Does my Add-On include auto-renewal?

Yes, your Add Ons will auto-renew every month while your Freedom Plan is active.

 

How can I opt out from my auto-renewal of my Add-On?

You may cancel automatic renewal via the MyDigicel App.

 

Does my data and talk rollover with my Postpaid Freedom plan?

Yes. All unused data & talk will rollover to your next billing cycle. However, rollover only qualifies if your account bill is paid in full and on time.

 

How many times can I rollover my available data and talk?

As many times as you have left over data and talk and as long as your account bill is paid in full and on time.

 

What will happen if I send messages to numbers other than local Digicel numbers?

If you send text messages to other local networks and International numbers you will be charged at the standard rates per SMS and it will be reflected on your credit limit usage on your monthly bill.

 

How can I check the data and talk balance of my plan? 

You can check your remaining minutes and data by using the MyDigicel app.

 

Will I be able to switch from one of the new postpaid plans to a Smart plan?

Unfortunately, once you have activated any of the new Freedom postpaid plans, you will not be able to revert to any of the plans previously offered by Digicel.

 

Am I able to use the voice, data and SMS while roaming?

No, if you activate a Freedom Plan and you travel outside of your country (roaming) you will not be able to use any SMS, minutes or data from your plan. You will be required to activate a roaming plan in order to make calls, text and/or use data.
