Terms and Conditions

These Digicel+ Switch Promotion (the “Promotion”) Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in the Promotion. You should read these Terms carefully before participating in the Promotion.

“We” or “us” means DIGICEL Dominica LIMITED (“Digicel”) a company incorporated in Dominica having its registered office at 20 Bath Road, Roseau.  References to “we, “our” and “us” in these Terms also includes our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) from time to time.

“I” or “You” means the person participating in the Promotion by signing up for Digicel+ (and “your” shall have the same meaning).

By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms incorporate the Digicel+ Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy which you can access here:

If you do not agree to, or accept any of these Terms, or if you are under the age of 18, you should not participate in this Promotion.

 

1.    What is the Digicel+ Switch Promotion?

 

From July 28, 2022 to September 30, 2022 (the “Promotional Period”), we will be offering non-Digicel+ customers the first three (3) months of their Digicel+ Home Fibre Service discounted by 50% (collectively, the “Reward”) plus their installation fee waived when they sign up for a new Digicel+ Home Fibre service.

 

 

2.    Who can participate in the Promotion?

Subject to these Terms, the following persons can participate in the Promotion:

a.    Residents of Dominica who reside in a Digicel+ Fibre area

b.    Digicel customers who do not have a Digicel+ subscription; and

c.     Non-Digicel customers who want to sign up for Digicel+ for the first time

 

The following persons are excluded from participating in the Promotion:

a.    Corporate and business account customers;

b.    Customers who already have a Digicel+ subscription;

c.     Persons under the age of eighteen (18); and

d.    Persons who do not reside in Dominica.

 

3.    How can I participate in the Promotion?

You can participate in the Promotion by signing up for Digicel+ Home Fibre by following the steps below:

Step 1: Sign up for the Digicel+ Home Fibre service using the online form on our website: https://www.digicelgroup.com/dm/en/digicel-plus/switch-to-digicel-plus.html

Step 2: A Digicel+ sales representative will contact you within forty-eight (48) hours of submitting the form to confirm you live in a Fibre area and that your  home can be installed. You will also need to sign the Customer Agreement form and submit the required documentation in order to complete the sale.

Step 3: After the Digicel+ Fibre service has been installed in your home, the installation fee will be waived and your first three (3) months of the service will be discounted by 50%.

 

4.    How will I be notified about the promotion?

Residents who live within the Digicel+ Home Fibre area will be notified about this promotion via SMS, digital campaign and our social media platforms.

 

5.    Does the 50% discount apply to all Digicel+ plans?

Yes, you will receive a 50% discount on your first three (3) months of any Digicel+ service plan you select.

6.    Will my subscription renew automatically?

Yes. Digicel+ Home Fibre is a postpaid service and will be billed monthly via email and/or postal mail.

 

 

7.    How is the discount applied?

Once the Digicel+ Home Fibre service has been installed in your home, your account will be activated and we a 50% discount will be applied to your first bill. Payments are required to be made on time and in full, in order to have the remaining discounts applied to your monthly Digicel+ statement on the second and third month.

 

8.    Can I sign up in store or with a Door 2 Door agent?

No. The Digicel+ Switch Promotion is a Special Online offer available to residents in our Fibre area who request service by completing the form on our website: https://www.digicelgroup.com/dm/en/digicel-plus/switch-to-digicel-plus.html

 

9.    How do I cancel my Digicel+ Home Fibre service?

 

You can request cancellation after a minimum of 12 months (1 full year) of service.

 

 

Additional Terms and Conditions

 

A.    In addition to these Terms and Conditions, you remain bound by the Terms and Conditions of your Digicel+ subscription.

 

B.    For customer support, or to report a problem or send us your feedback, please contact us via the My Digicel mobile application.

 

C.   This product is offered for your personal use and not for commercial use.

 

D.   You confirm that you are: (i) the current owner; (ii) tenant under a valid lease; or (iii) licensed occupier of the home for which you want to install the Digicel+ service.

 

E.    You are solely responsible for all associated fees and costs incurred by you for equipment, connectivity and data usage in relation to your participation in the Promotion.

F.    We reserve the right to terminate this offer if, in our sole opinion, the Promotion is being abused, whether on a commercial basis or otherwise, general abuse deemed as an attempt to undermine the integrity of our services.

 

G.   We reserve the right to modify, extend or discontinue (permanently or temporarily), this Promotion being offered to you at our discretion.

 

H.   We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Digicel website or the My Digicel mobile application. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.

 

I.      The terms and conditions which apply to you are those published on the Digicel website at the time that your subscription is most recently activated. These Terms will only apply for the Promotional Period.
