Digicel+ terms & condition customer referral program for Jongbloed & Brievengat neighborhoods



This Customer Referral Program (“the Program”) Terms and Conditions (the “T&C’s”) apply to you if you choose to participate in the Program. You should read these T&C’s carefully before submitting referrals to/for Digicel+.


“We” or “us” means SANTA BARBARA UTILITIES N.V. T/A Digicel+ a company incorporated in Curaçao, having its registered office at Biesheuvel 24-25, Willemstad Curaçao. References to “Digicel”, “we”, “our” and “us” in these T&C’s includes our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) from time to time.

“You” means the Digicel customer, with a Digicel + subscription, who submitted a potential new customer as a referral as part of the Program.

These T&C’s incorporate the Digicel + (Fiber to the Home) Terms and Conditions.

By participating in the Program, you agree to also be bound by these the Digicel + (Fiber to the Home) Terms and Conditions.



1.1.  Digicel+ operates a state of the art fiber network, which enables homes in Curaçao to enjoy reliable internet speed and first class service. Digicel+ is expanding its footprint in Curaçao and as such is soliciting customers to participate in its Customer Referral Program.

1.2.  Solicited customers who have an active Digicel+ account can submit required information of potential new Digicel+ customers, such as name, address, phone number and email address, as indicated by us through the channels that have been designated by us (e.g. website, email, messaging).

1.3.  We will evaluate the information received and assess whether the referred potential customers are eligible for our Digicel+ service.



2.1.  For every customer that you refer, whom we have completed a Digicel+ installation for, and who has paid their first full monthly invoice, you will receive a referral fee.

2.2.  The referral fee will be equal to one-month free of your subscription, at the moment that you have submitted the customer referral.

2.3.  The referral fee will be applied as a credit on Your Digicel+ account and is never in cash. The credit will be applied by the end of the following month that we have received payment of the new customer’s first full month invoice.

2.4.  You must have an active Digicel+ account in order to be able to receive the credit.

2.5.  You must not be in arrears for any service of Digicel or Digicel + in order to receive the referral fee.

2.6.  In order to sign up for the Digicel+ service the referred customer must not be in arrears for any service of Digicel or Digicel+.

2.7.  You forfeit the referral fee if You are in arrears and Digicel+ is free to install the referred customer without any obligation towards You.

2.8.   It is not allowed for You to withhold payment of Your invoice pending for the referral fee to be applied. If you opt to do so, you may be disconnected for non-payment and not be eligible to receive the referral fee

2.9.  The referral fee will only be applied once. We reserve the right to apply the referral fee to the Digicel+ customer who has referred the new customer first. 

2.10.             Referral fees apply only for new customer sign ups. Customer upgrades to higher values packages are not eligible for referral fees.

2.11.             You consent that we mention your name when approaching the referred customer.




Additional Terms and Conditions


A.      This Customer Referral Program is for your personal use and not for commercial use.

B.      We reserve the right to terminate this Customer Referral Program  or exclude You specifically if, in our sole opinion, it is being abused, whether on a commercial basis or otherwise deemed as an attempt to undermine the integrity of our services.  

C.      We reserve the right to modify, extend or discontinue (permanently or temporarily), this Customer Referral Program at our discretion. You are not entitled to derive any rights after re-instatement of the Program after a temporary discontinuation.

D.      We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel these T&C’s. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Program, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via email or to post such notification on the Digicel website or the My Digicel mobile application. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.

E.       You accept that the Digicel+ service may not be available island-wide yet and as such we can not guarantee that all referred customers can receive a Digicel+ installation.

F.       All Digicel+ General Terms & Conditions are applicable throughout your contract period.

G.      In case the above articles conflict with the terms and conditions of Digicel+ these T&C’s take precedence.
