1. What is the Quickie Bundle?

-Unlimited Local Digicel Talk for 1 hour

-Unlimited SMS for 1 hour

-Unlimited Facebook (No FB Messenger) for 1 hour

-Unlimited Whatsapp (No VOIP) for 1 hourN.B. * Customers cannot do Facebook video calls or access Facebook Live with this Quickie Bundle.

2. What is the cost of the Quickie Bundle?

The Quickie Bundle will cost $1 (VAT Inc).

3. What networks are the unlimited calls and text messages applicable to?

The unlimited calls and text messages are restricted to Digicel numbers.

4. Who can benefit from this Quickie Bundle?

All prepaid customers can benefit from this Quickie Bundle. This bundle doesn’t apply to postpaid customers.

5. How can I access this bundle?

This bundle can be accessed via the My Digicel App or by dialing *100# from your Digicel handset.

6. Is there a fair usage associated with this Quick Bundle?

No; there is no fair usage associated with this plan.

7. If I make a call during the duration of my Quickie Bundle, how will I know when my Quickie call starts and when it ends?

You will receive a start of call notification at the beginning of your Quickie hour and an end of call notification at the end of your Quickie hour.

8. If I am on a call during the duration of the Quickie Bundle, and my Quickie Bundle expires, what happens to my call?

If you are on a call during the duration of your Quickie Bundle, your call will not drop. However, you will be charged for the remaining portion of the call after your Quickie Bundle expires at the regular rates.

9. If during the Quickie hour, I attempt to use YouTube, browse Google or watch a Facebook video, what happens?

If during the hour, you attempt to use YouTube, browse Google or do a facebook call, you will not be able to access these data applications, as the Quickie Bundle does not include data other than whatsapp messaging and facebook browsing. However, if you have an active data plan all data that is not applicable to your quickie will be discounted from your active plan or if you don’t have an active plan then you may buy a Quick Pick Bundle to have access to these data applications or use data paygo.

10. If I have an active Quick Pick Bundle when I activate this bundle, how does my data deplete?

Once you purchase this bundle you are not charged for data for whatsapp messages and facebook browsing, Digicel calls/SMS for the duration of the bundle. Any other data used outside of what’s given on your quickie will be applicable to extra charges or discounted from your active bundle.

11.   How many times per day can this bundle be activated?

· This bundle can be activated multiple times as long as you have sufficient credit to purchase multiple bundles.

· If you activate a Quickie Bundle while one is already active it will reset your current 1 hour Quickie Bundle. This means it will not be an additional hour to the current hour.

· E.g. If a Quickie was activated at 1pm and a second one was activated at 1.20pm the time is extended to 2.20pm and not 3pm.

12. Where are my data and minutes displayed?

There is no display of data and minutes.

13. Is there a fair usage associated with this Quickie Bundle?

No, there is no fair usage associated with this Quickie Bundle.

14. Can I access this bundle if I have a current Freedom Bundle active?

Yes; you can access this bundle if you have an active Freedom Bundle.

15. Do my data and minutes from the Freedom Bundle rollover onto my active Quickie 1 hour bundle?

No, the data and minutes from the Quickie Bundle do not rollover as the data and minutes are unlimited.  

16. Does the Quickie Bundle auto renew?

No, with initial activation the Quickie Bundle does not automatically renew. However, you have the option of enabling the auto-renewal feature if you wish.

17. How am I notified when my Quickie Bundle is active?

You will be notified by a confirmation message upon activation of the bundle and once the confirmation is received you can feel free to restart your device.

 

17.     How am I notified when my Quickie Bundle ends?

·         Before your Quickie Bundle expires you will receive notice that your bundle is about to expire, if you do not have an active Quick Pick Bundle, you will be prompted to purchase one.

·         You will receive another message once the Quickie Bundle ends and your data will be blocked for one (1) hour to prevent you from incurring Pay As You Go charges. You will received a pop-up message if you attempt to access data within the hour after your Quickie Bundle ends with the option of purchasing a Quick Pick Bundle or browsing as Pay As You Go. 

·         If you do not select either of the abovementioned options, you will continue to blocked from data.  You will receive the pop-up message every 15 minutes for the duration of the hour after your Quickie expires. Once the hour of blocked data expires, you will regain access to Pay As You Go data.  

 

19.     Do I receive a d’Music subscription with the Quickie Bundle?

·         No, you do not. This bundle does not come with a d’Music subscription.

20.      What is the Send a Quickie Promotion about?

  • The Send a Quickie is a promotion being offered to you whereby you will be able to send or gift a 1 Hour Quickie Bundle to another Digicel prepaid customer, using credit from your main account balance. 

 

21.     How can I access the Send a Quickie Promotion?

·        You can access the Send a Quickie Promotion via the code *424#.

  • To access this service your main account balance must be more than $5.00 and must NOT have any other outstanding loans (i.e. Quick Credit, Quick Pick Loan, and previous Quickie Loan).

22.      Is there a charge for using the service?

  • No; there is no charge for using the service.

23.      Is there a limit to the amount of times I can send a Quickie Bundle?

  • No; there is no limit, you can send as many Quickie Bundles as you like, as long as you have sufficient credit to pay for the bundles and do not have any outstanding loans to repay.   

24.     If I already have a Quickie Bundle active will I be able to receive another?

  • Yes; you will. You can have overlapping Quickie Bundles. Eg; if you receive a Quickie Bundle and after 30 minutes you are sent another one, the second Quickie Bundle received will overlap and stay active for another 30 minutes after the first one expires.

25.     If I already have a Quick Pick Bundle active will I be able to receive a Quickie Bundle?

  • Yes; if you have a Quick Pick Bundle active, you will be able to receive a Quickie Bundle from someone else. The Quickie Bundle is compatible with all Quick Pick Bundles.

26.     How will I be notified that a Quickie Bundle was gifted to me?

  • You will receive the following SMS:
  • “You've received a Quickie! Ur plan will be activated shortly. Please await confirmation message.”

27.     Will I be notified if I have insufficient funds to gift a Quickie Bundle?

  • Yes; you will be notified if there are insufficient funds in your account to gift a Quickie Bundle. You will receive the below message:

28.     If a Quickie Bundle is sent to an incorrect number can this be corrected or cancelled?

  • No; Quickie Bundles cannot be corrected or cancelled if sent to an incorrect number.

29.     What is the Lend a Quickie Promotion?

  • The Lend a Quickie is a service being offered to you whereby you will be able to request a $5 (Vat Inc) loan to purchase a 1 Hour Quickie Bundle.
  • The loan received is dependent on the amount of credit one has at the time of request. As such it will apply the difference in credit totaling to $5.00.

30.     How can I request this Quickie loan?

This Quickie loan can be requested by:-

  •   Texting “Quickie” to 247; and
  •   Texting the letter “q” or “Q” to 247

31.     How does this Promotion work?

  • You will be able to request a loan of $5 (VAT Inc) to purchase a 1 Hour Quickie Bundle by texting “Quickie” to 247. To access this service your main account balance must be less than $5.00 and must NOT have any other outstanding loans (i.e. Quick Credit, Quick Pick Loan, and previous Quickie loan).
  • Note: This loan can ONLY be used towards the purchase of the 1 Hour Quickie Bundle.    

 

32.     Can I have a $0.00 balance and still be able to request a Quickie loan?

  • Yes; you can also request a Quickie loan if their main account balance is $0.00.

33.     Can this Quickie loan be accessed at any time?

  • No; you must satisfy the following criteria to be eligible for a Quickie loan:-

-  Must not have any other outstanding loans.

-  Must have less than $5 in your main account balance.

34.     Is there a charge for taking a Quickie loan?

  • No; there is no charge for taking a Quickie loan.

35.      Can I request multiple Quickie Loans?

  • No; you will not be able to request multiple Quickie loans at the same time. You must repay any outstanding loans before you can request another.

36.     How is the Quickie loan repaid?

  • Quickie loans are repaid with your next top up. Therefore if you top up with $10 after taking a Quickie loan, $5 will be taken to repay that loan.

37.   Are there any additional service fees when repaying the Quickie loan?

  • No; there are no additional service fees when repaying the loan. You repay exactly what you borrowed i.e. $5.00.

38.   How will I know that my Quickie loan was successful?

  • Once you are eligible for a Quickie loan, it is applied to your account and will automatically be used to activate the 1 Hour Quickie Plan. You will therefore receive the following messages once the loan is applied and used to activate the Quickie Plan:
  • “Thanks for your interest in Digicel’s Quickie! Your request was received and will be activated shortly. Please await your confirmation SMS.”
  • “Your Quickie Bundle is active. Enjoy Facebook, Unltd WhatsApp Msgs & Digi talk&text for 1 hr! PLUS in June, enjoy Facebook Video! Bundle expires at 2017/xx/xx xx:xx”

39.   What message will I receive if I am not eligible for a Quickie loan?

  • You will receive the following messages:-
  • Quickie Loan Denied due to outstanding debt: “Sorry you’re not eligible to borrow a Quickie. Top Up and SAVE with a Quick Pick Bundle. Dial *323# or buy via the My digicel app at any time”
  • Recipient has more than $5.00: “Sorry, you’re not eligible to borrow a Quickie. To buy a Quickie dial *323# or use the My Digicel app @ http://onelink.to/mydigicelapp”

40.   Can a Quick Credit loan for cash and a Quickie loan be taken at the same time?

  • No; they cannot. In order to receive one loan, you cannot have an outstanding loan balance for another service.

41.   Is there a limit to the amount of times I can request a Quickie loan?

  • No; there is no limit to the amount of times that you can request a Quickie loan, however you must repay the loan by topping up before a second loan can be initiated.

42.   Conditions of Use

  • The Quickie Bundle is offered for the personal use of individuals and not commercial use or usage by groups of individuals. Any usage at all by an individual that in Digicel’s sole discretion is intended for financial gain or profit by you or by groups of individuals will result in the immediate termination of the particular package.
  • Digicel reserves the right to terminate the bundle or Promotion forthwith if in its sole opinion the bundle is being abused.
  • Digicel reserves the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily) the bundle or Promotion being offered to its customer at its discretion.
  • Digicel reserves the right to at any time, with or without the notice, to vary or cancel the terms and conditions of its bundle and Promotions. In the event of Digicel giving notice to customers of any such changes to or cancellation of the bundle, it shall suffice for Digicel to give customers notice via messages to customer’s handset/device or to post such notification on Digicel’s website. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notification.
  • Customers should be solely responsible for keeping their mobile handset properly secured and for all activations and other activities that occur on or through their mobile handsets. Any request made for the new bundle and Promotions via the use of the USSD code from a mobile handset shall be deemed a legitimate request from the customer to whom the said mobile handset is registered. Digicel shall not be responsible for any losses arising out of the unauthorized use of a customer’s handset.
  • Subject to the above, the standard Prepaid, and 4G terms and conditions shall apply.
