The following are the Terms and Conditions governing the use of these plans:

 

1.     What are the new Pick Data+ Talk plans?                                                                               

These plans allow you as a prepaid customer to purchase talk, text and data plans, talk and text plans or data only plans.  These plans are available to all compatible devices and can be activated via the My Digicel App or by dialing *246#.

 

2.     Who can benefit from the Pick Data + Talk plans?

These plans are available to all Digicel prepaid customers.

 

3.     How many Pick Data+ Talk plans can I choose from?

The following tables list the plans that are available to you:

* Unlimited calls: Fair usage policy will apply.

** WhatsApp Messaging refers to the standard WhatsApp text service only. WhatsApp voice and video calls will use data from an active data bundle or Pick Data + Talk plan. Pick Talk plans do not include a data allotment; data usage for WhatsApp (messaging, voice & video calls) for customers on a Pick Talk plan will be charged at the standard rate of BBD $0.61 per MB.

 

4.      How much time do I have before my old Pick Data+ Talk plan is no longer available?

If your old Pick Data +Talk plan was purchased before the new Pick Data+Talk plans listed in the tables above took effect on August 13th, 2018, it will continue until its expiry date.            

 

5.      Will I receive a notice that my plan will be removed?

Yes, you will receive a reminder message 24 hours before the plan expires and on the day it ends.

 

6.     Can I activate a Pick Data + Talk now?

Yes, you can activate any of our newest Pick Data+ Talk plans listed in the tables above via My Digicel App or by dialing *246#.

 

7.      Will my data rollover?

Unused data from your Pick Data + Talk plan will rollover once you purchase a Pick Data+ Talk plan within 24 hours of expiry of the previous plan. Maximum amount of data you can rollover is capped at 15GBs.        

 

8. How will I know when my Pick Data+ Talk is active?

You will receive a confirmation message letting you know that your Pick Data+ Talk plan is available; this message will also include an expiration date for the plan.

 

9. Can I activate a Pick Data + Talk plan on my BlackBerry device?

No. The Pick Data+Talk plans are only available on Android and iOS devices. Blackberry devices are not compatible with these plans.

 

10. What happens when the megabytes in my Pick Data+ Talk plan have finished?

When the megabytes (MBs) in your Pick Data & Talk plan have finished, you will receive a text message giving you options to renew your Pick Data+ Talk or buy extra data.

 

11. How many times can these plans be activated?

As many times as you wish. As long as you have enough credit, you can choose a Pick Data + Talk, even while you have an existing plan or plans. Each plan will expire on its original end-date.                                                                                                                                           

 

12. Will I incur charges once my data is finished and my plan is still active?             

The standard out of bundle rate of BBD $0.61 per MB will apply.                                                                        

 

13. Can I activate another Pick Data+ Talk plan if I already have one active?

Yes. When you activate a Pick Data+ Talk while another is already active, you will receive all the benefits of the new plan and still be able to use both plans until each plan expires on its own end-date.                                                                                                                           

 

14. If I am on a call while using my Pick Data+ Talk plan, and my minutes run out, what happens to my call?

If you are on a Pick Data+ Talk plan and your bundled minutes run out, your call will not disconnect, however, you will be charged for the remaining portion of the call at standard out of bundle rates.                                                                                                                       

 

15. Will my available minutes or data on my current plan rollover if I purchase another Pick Data+ Talk plan?

Yes. You get to keep your unused minutes when you activate another Pick Data+Talk plan (with talk) and you get to keep your unused data when you activate another Pick Data+ Talk plan (with data)  within 24 hours of expiry of the current plan. Maximum amount of data you can rollover is capped at 15GBs.

 

16. What happens if I choose not to activate a Pick Data+ Talk Plan?

Standard out of bundle charges will apply if you choose not to activate a Pick Data+Talk plan.

 

17. Where can I call with my Pick Data+ Talk plan minutes?

Pick Data+ Talk plan minutes can be used to make calls to the following destinations:

  • Local Digicel Mobile Minutes
  • Digicel To Local Digicel Mobile numbers
  • Other local minutes
  • Digicel to Flow/Ozone mobile numbers and landline numbers (including Digicel landline numbers)
  • Anywhere Minutes
  • USA mobile and landline numbers
  • Canada mobile and landline numbers
  • UK landline numbers
  • Mobile numbers on Digicel networks in the following Caribbean territories (Excluding Haiti, Cuba and Jamaica):
    • Anguilla
    • Antigua and Barbuda
    • Aruba
    • Bonaire
    • British Virgin Islands
    • Cayman Islands
    • Curacao
    • Dominica
    • Dominican Republic
    • Grenada
    • Guadeloupe
    • Montserrat
    • Puerto Rico
    • Saint Kitts and Nevis
    • Saint Lucia
    • Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
    • Suriname
    • Trinidad and Tobago
    • Turks and Caicos Islands

 

18. If I am on a call (to one of the destinations listed above) within the duration of the Pick Data+ Talk Plan, and the plan expires, what happens to my call?

If you are on a call (to one of the destinations listed above) and your Pick Data+ Talk plan expires, your call will not disconnect, however, you will be charged for the remaining portion of the call at the standard out of bundle rates.

 

19. How do I check the balance of minutes and data on my Pick Data+ Talk plan?

You can check your data and minutes balance via the My Digicel App or by dialing *246# from your handset.

 

20. Do my data and minutes from the expired Pick Data+ Talk plan rollover onto my new Pick Data+ Talk plan?

Yes, the unused data and minutes from your current Pick Data+ Talk Plan will rollover to your new plan if your new plan has data and minutes and if your new plan was purchased within 24 hours of expiry of your previous plan.  

 

21. How will I be notified when my Pick Data+ Talk plan expires?                                                    

Before your Pick Data+ Talk Plan expires, you will receive a reminder message letting you know that your plan is about to expire. If you do not activate a Pick Data + Talk, you will be sent another reminder.

 

22. Does the Pick Data+ Talk Plan automatically renew?

Yes, the Pick Data+ Talk plans will auto-renew as long as there is sufficient credit on your account and once you have not changed the auto-renewal setting on your plan.

 

23. Can I opt-out of auto-renewal?

Yes, you can opt-out of auto-renewal by dialing *246# from your handset, pressing option 7 “My Balance” and selecting the option “Cancel auto-renew” You can also visit the My Digicel App where you can choose to opt-out of auto-renewal.

24. Am I able to use my Pick Data+ Talk plan after it expires?

No. After your Pick Data+ Talk expires, you lose all the benefits.

 

25. Can I use my Pick Data+ Talk plan while roaming? 

No. The Pick Data+ Talk plans are for local use ONLY. 

 

26. Is the d’Music service free or will this be deducted from my data quota?

If you have activated the Pick Data + Talk 30 Day plan, you will not be required to activate a separate subscription plan for access to d'Music, however, data usage for streaming d’Music will be deducted from your data bundle allotment of your plan.

 

27. How can I access the d’Music service?

You can download the d’Music app from the Google Play store or the Apple store or browse 

Get d´Music from Digicel’s website http://www.digicelmusic.com or visit the “More Apps” section on My Digicel App.

 

  • The Pick Data+ Talk plans are offered for the personal use of individuals and not commercial use or usage by groups of individuals. Any usage at all by an individual that in Digicel’s sole discretion is intended for financial gain or profit by you or by groups of individuals will result in the immediate termination of the particular plan.
  • Digicel reserves the right to terminate the Pick Data+ Talk plans forthwith if in its sole opinion the plans are being abused.
  • Digicel reserves the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily) the Pick Data+ Talk plans being offered to its customer at its discretion.
  • Digicel reserves the right to at any time, with or without the notice, to vary or cancel the terms and conditions of its Pick Data+ Talk plans. In the event of Digicel giving notice to customers of any such changes to or cancellation of the Pick Data+ Talk plans, it shall suffice for Digicel to give customers notice via messages to customer’s handset/device or to post such notification on Digicel’s website. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notification.
  • Customers should be solely responsible for keeping their mobile handset properly secured and for all activations and other activities that occur on or through their mobile handsets. Any request made via the use of the short codes from a mobile handset shall be deemed a legitimate request from the customer to whom the said mobile handset is registered. Digicel shall not be responsible for any losses arising out of the unauthorized use of a customer’s handset.
  • Subject to the above, the standard Prepaid terms and conditions and Digicel’s Fair Usage Policy shall apply.
