1.     What are the Prepaid Quick Pick Bundle plans all about?

Digicel is giving its customers greater value with a suite of Prepaid mixed service Plans! These plans are inclusive of voice, sms, data and d’Music access aimed at providing both new and existing customers the best value for the services they use the most!

 

2.     What are the existing Prepaid Quick Pick Bundle plans?

The Quick Bundles are a set of plans inclusive of voice minutes, SMS, data, Whatsapp Messaging, Facebook browsing & music streaming quota.

Please note : *Whatsapp Messaging in the tables below refers to the standard whatsapp messaging service only. The voice and video messaging will be taken from the subscribers data bundle on both the Pick Data + Talk Bundle of plans and the Pick Data Bundle of plans. *The Pick Talk Bundle of plans do not have a data quota allotment and as such subscriber Whatsapp Usage (messaging, voice and video) will be taken from their Main Account credit balance and charged at the standard of 61c per MB.

·        Customers will experience the plan changes with their first activation after the new plans have gone live

 

 

 

3.       As of August 13th 2018 the free elements of Facebook Messaging and Whatsapp Messaging will be removed.  Customers may now benefit from Social Bolt Ons as detailed below.

 

4.       Details  of the Social Media Add-on:

·         The Social Media Add-on will be configured to be compatible with the below Plans:

·        The Social Media add-on can only be activated when a customer is on one of these Quick Pick Plans.

·        Plans which will be eligible for the Free Social Bolt – Ons

·        Each Quick Pick Plan will have its own Social Media Add-on.

·        Social Media Add-on will expire with the Quick Pick Plan.

·        At go live to August 13th, 2018 the Social Media Add-on will be activated automatically free of cost with a Quick Pick plan activation.

1.       After Sep 30th, 2018 the add-on will stop being activated automatically and will be sold at a cost.

 

·        The above plans contain the social media elements of free whatsapp and Facebook messaging. These free attributes will be removed on August 13th and replaced with Social bolt-ons. Social Media add-on will cover data usage for the below applications and their features:

 

1.       WhatsApp:

a.       File transfer via messenger.

b.      Instant messaging.

c.       Voice and Videos Calls

2.       Facebook:

a.       General Face Book usage:

·        Activation:

1.       Before October 1, 2018 add-ons will activate automatically with the activation of the mentioned Quick Pick Plans above.

2.       Add-on will be available for activation via UMM and the My Digicel App on October 1, 2018

·        Expiry:

1.       The Social Media Add-on will end automatically with the expiration of the Quick Pick Plan or when the customer transit away to an ineligible plan.

 

 

·        From August 13th – Sep 30th,  2018 the Social Media Add-on will be activated automatically  FREE of cost with a Quick Pick plan activation.

1.       After Sep 30th, 2018 the add-on will stop being activated automatically and will be sold at a cost.

 

·        These plans currently contain the social media elements of free whatsapp and Facebook messaging. These will be removed and the free bolt on will be offered to the three plans as indicated above.

 

5.       Where can I access the Prepaid Plans?

All prepaid plans can be accessed via the My Digicel App with our full suite of plans still available on the UMM by dialling *246#.

Please note that we have made changes to the UMM and My Digicel App to simplify our offers and advise all customers to take care when selecting their plans for purchase.

 

6.     Where can I call while using a Pick Data + Talk bundle plan or a Pick Talk bundle plan?

·         On-Net Local – Digicel to Digicel

o   All plans that include talk (Pick Data + Talk & Pick Talk bundle of plans) will include UNLIMITED Digi to Digi calling and SMS for the duration of the plan.

o   Unlimited Digi to Digi calls are on the Pick Data + Talk bundle & Pick Talk bundle of plans.

o   Other LocalDigicel to FLOW / Ozone mobiles

•          Minutes apply to:

o   Local On-Net Minutes (Unlimited) – This applies to Digi to Digi calls while on the Barbados network.  Unlimited means there are no caps/limitations and all calls are completely zero rated.  This should apply to MO & MT calling.

o   Local Off-Net Minutes – This applies to Digicel to FLOW mobile/Fixed, Digicel Play Fixed and should now include the Ozone prefix 695, 696 & 697.

o   ILD = Regional & InternationalDigi Mobile Regional Applies to Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Aruba, Bonaire, British Virgin Islands, Cayman, Curacao, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Montserrat, Puerto Rico, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Suriname, T&T, TCI, International - USA, Canada and UK Fixed.

o   Anywhere Minutes – This is a combination of the ILD Regional & Int’l and Off Net Minutes.

Customers will be charged at the standard rates for ALL OTHER destinations when utilising their Other Mobile Voice Minutes while on the Pick Data + Talk and Pick Talk bundle plans.

7.     Are customers able to have multiple plans?

Yes. Customers can have multiple plans active at once! If a customer attempts to activate the same Quick Pick plan multiple times, this will simply extend the plan and any unused bundles from the old plan will be automatically added to the new plan (a 20GB data cap applies).

o   For example, if a customer activates a 30 Day Pick Data + Talk, 30 Day Pick Data or a 30 Day Pick Talk plan and is on the 28th day of that plan and purchases another 30 Day Pick Data + Talk, 30 Day Pick Data or 30 Day Pick Talk plan, they will have one Pick Data + Talk plan, Pick Data or Pick Talk plan with a duration of 30 days and combined quota for voice, sms & data.

Current prepaid plans (soon to be legacy as they will be phased out), will be compatible with these Quick Pick plans. All legacy plans are to be removed at a date determined by Digicel from the system, and prepaid customers will only have Quick Pick Bundle plans available for purchase at that time.

 

8.     Will the current legacy plans be compatible with the Prepaid Quick Pick plans?

Yes. A customer with an active legacy data plan can activate a Quick Pick plan. Both plans will work independently and data will be charged from the bundle expiring first.

9.     Will the Prepaid Quick Pick Bundle Plan quotas roll over?

Multiple Plan Purchase allows for plan quota & duration extension.  If a customer attempts to activate the same Quick Pick plan multiple times, this will simply extend the plan and any unused bundles from the old plan will be automatically added to the new plan (a 20GB data cap applies).

 

10.If my Prepaid Quick Pick Bundle Plan expires, can I renew it and keep my bundle?

Upon expiry of a customer’s last active plan, unused minutes and data bundles will be stored but cannot be accessed by the customer unless they activate a new prepaid bundle within the 24 hour grace period.

Please note: auto-renewal will not occur during the 24 hour grace period, and the customer will have to activate a plan on their own in order to access their unused mins & data bundles. If no plan is activated within the 24-hour grace period all unused minutes and data will be lost.

 

11.Will my Prepaid Quick Pick Bundle Plan Auto-Renew?

Yes. All Prepaid Quick Pick bundle plans will auto-renew (once the customer has sufficient funds). This is also dependent on if the customer changes the auto-renewal setting of the plan.

·         Customers will continue to receive standard auto-renewal notifications advising them of how to change the auto-renewal setting.

·         Customers can have two or more plans active that are set to auto-renew.

 

12.   Will my Prepaid Quick Pick Bundle data and talk roll over?

YES. Customer’s unused minutes and data rollover with no limit as long as they remain within their cycle and keep a plan active. Customers will have 48hours to auto renew their plans before their data and talk minutes are removed once their existing plan expires.

 

13.How can I check my Prepaid Quick Pick Bundle Plan balances?

Customers will be able to check their voice, sms or data balances using the UMM, My Digicel App or Web Self-care portal ONLY.

 

14. Can I activate a Prepaid Quick Pick Bundle Plan on my BlackBerry device?

No. The Quick Pick plans are only available at this time on Android and iOS devices.

·         Blackberry devices WILL NOT be compatible for the activation of these plans.

 

15. Can I use my Prepaid Quick Pick Bundle Plan while roaming?

No. Any data quota received in this promotion is for local data use ONLY.

 

16. If I activate a Prepaid Quick Pick Bundle Plan then I decide to switch back to a legacy plan, will I be able to perform this action?

Yes. Once a customer activates a Quick Pick plan they will also be able to activate any of the legacy plans (standard data plans and all other plans).

 

17. Is the d’Music service Free or will this be deducted from my data quota?

Subscribers will not be required to activate a separate plan for access to d'Music, music streaming. However, the d'Music streaming service will be taken directly from the data allotment  on each of the new Pick and Talk bundles.

 

Top Chart access is provided on the 1 day pick talk and data and the 7 day  pick talk and data rated at $15.

Premium access is provided on the 7 day Pick Talk & Data rated at $25 and both 30 day Pick Talk & Data plans.

 

 

18. How can I access the d’Music service?

It’s simple! Customers can either:

 

·         Download the d’Music app from the Google Play or the Apple store or browse www.digicelmusic.com

 

o   Once completed, customers can then sign-in using their existing Digicel ID and begin streaming their favourite songs right away! They can download and listen to their favourite music at any time.

 

19.   Can I use the d’Music streaming while roaming?

Yes. All Digicel customers will be able to access their d’Music account while abroad, however, the applicable roaming data charges will apply.

 

20.If I forget my Digicel ID password to use the D’Music service, where can I access this?

If a customer forgets their Digicel ID password which gives them access to the d’Music service, they can simply go to the MyDigicel App and select the “forget password” option. They will be sent a verification code via text message which will advise them on how to reset their password. If a customer has forgotten their password and associated email address they can call Customer Care by dialling 100 from their mobile phones and requesting assistance with resetting their assigned email and password.

 

Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions for the Quick Pick Bundles

The below terms and conditions are applicable to all Digicel products and services:

·         Digicel hereby specifically reserves the right to terminate, cancel, suspend and/or modify the Promotion/Product if any fraud, virus or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, safety or proper play of the Promotion/Product as determined by Digicel in its sole discretion. In such event, Digicel hereby specifically reserves the right (but not the obligation) to award some other prize hereunder as determined by Digicel in its sole discretion.

·         Digicel reserves the right to at any time vary the terms of the Promotion/Product, to amend its Terms and Conditions, or to withdraw the Promotion/Product. In any of these events notice will be given via media advertisements or messages to subscribers and will be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.

·         This product is ONLY applicable to Prepaid subscribers at this time.

 

·         Credit Advance credit will not be applicable to purchase any of the Prepaid Quick Pick bundle plans.

·         This service is only applicable for use in Barbados. While roaming, the customer will be charged at the prevailing roaming rates for Voice, SMS and Data usage.

o   NB: Due to system limitations, this cannot be displayed in seconds although the customers balance includes the seconds.

·         Customers will be able to transit upwards and downwards to any of the available plans based on the plan that is currently activated.
