The new d’Music Add-Ons are simply a better portfolio offering to a wider customer base with much more value. There are nine (9) new d’Music Add-Ons to choose from and customers will enjoy a lot more data.

The new d’Music Add-Ons be available on October 19th 2018 as at 12:01 a.m. The old d’Music Add-Ons will no longer be available.

 

All Digicel prepaid and postpaid customers can enjoy the value and convenience of our new d’Music Add-On plans. Customers must have access to the d’Music App in order to activate a d’Music Add-On plan. However, there are some differences between the specific services applicable to prepaid and postpaid customer, as set out below:

Activation
Customers can access the new d’Music Add-Ons by using the d’Music App, My Digicel App and UMM by dialing *147#.

Customers must have sufficient credit on their accounts for the d’Music plan to activate successfully, otherwise, the activation will fail.
Customers can access the new d’Music Add-Ons by using the d’Music App, My Digicel App and UMM by dialing *147# for specific rate plans:

a. Old Smart/ Value Plans
b. Start Smart
c. Go Smart
d. More Smart
e. Premium Smart
f. Elite Smart
g. Max Smart
h. Go Smart +(LTE)
i. More Smart + (LTE)
j. Premium Smart+ (LTE).
k. Freedom Start
l. Freedom Core

*Customers on the Freedom Plus rate plan will get the free d’Music unlimited streaming with their subscription.
Usage
Customers must activate one of the prepaid d’Music plans to use the d’Music App. d’Music streaming will be charged from postpaid the customers’ d’Music bundle.
Customers with the d’Music access only plan will be charged form activate data only or bundle plans’ data allotment for d’Music stream. Customers with the d’Music access only plan will be charged from the available regular data allotment.
If there is no available data allotment, customers will be charged at the PAYGO/Overage for streaming. When both d’Music data and regular data bundles are exhausted Customers will be charged at PAYGO/Overage rate, if their current rate plan allows PAYGO/Overage browsing.
Customers whose d’Music plan give d’Music data allotment will only be deducted for streaming music from the d’Music.

Access only means that a customer does not have a data allotment for d’Music usage, therefore the d’Music usage will be deducted from the customer’s available data bundle or main balance. However, the customer is overage blocked, they will have to opt in to browse overage and be charge the standard overage rates.

 

Access and Data means that a customer has data allotments which will cover d’Music usage only.

 

Customers can access the new d’Music Add-Ons by using the d’Music App, My Digicel App and UMM by dialing *147#.

 

Upon activating a new d’Music Add-On, you will receive an SMS confirmation message.

 

Yes, you can buy up to two (2) Add-ons at the same time however it cannot be the same type of Add-on.

 

Yes, your Add-On will auto-renew except the d’Music 1 day Add-On plan. Prepaid and Postpaid customers will receive auto-renewal notifications two (2) days and one (1) day before the expiry of their d’Music Add-On plans. Prepaid customers must have sufficient balance at the time of renewal.

On the d’Music Add-On one (1) day plan, customers will be prompted to opt-in to renewal of that plan. Customers will be prompted twelve (12) hours before the d’Music 1 day plan expires.

The renewal will fail at the time and you will not be able to use your d’Music service. For some Digicel markets, the system will automatically retry after a time specific period and your service resumes.  If there is no automatic retry in your country, simply sign up again to regain access to your d’Music service!

 

You may cancel automatic renewal via the My Digicel App.

 

You will be notified of the plan renewal via SMS before your plan expires. 

Once your Add-On plan is renewed, you will receive an SMS confirmation message.

 

Customers will receive threshold messages when their data usage is at 75%, 90% and 100%.

 

Data will be displayed in My Digicel App and when a customer checks data balance in the UMM menu by dialing *147#.

 

You can check information about your d’Music plan in the d’Music App by going to “Menu” then “My Profile”. You can also view your plan in the My Digicel App.

 

Yes, you may change or transfer from particular d’Music Add-Ons to another in the d’Music App by going to “Menu” then “My Profile” or the My Digicel App. Please see the table below for details.

No. If you change your Add-On plan before the end of the period of service, you will not get a refund of your money for that existing Add-On plan.

 

You will have access to your downloads if you do not change your subscription type from Premium or Top Chart or Top Chart to Premium. Therefore, if you change your 7 day Add-On plan to a 30 day Add-On plan but in the same type (Premium or Top Chart), you will keep the downloads. However, if you switch from Top Chart to Premium or vice versa, you will no longer have access to your downloads.

 

No, you won't have access to downloaded songs once your Add-On plan expires.  Once you renew the Add-On plan, you can access to your songs again.

Prepaid Customers :

A.    Nuff Nuff Data:

  • Customers will be able to have both the d’Music Add-On plan and Nuff Nuff Data plan active at the same time.
  • If the d’Music Add-On plan data allotment is used first for d’Music streaming, and the d’Music Add-On data allotment is exhausted or the customer has a d’Music Add-On plan without data allotment, the customer will be charged from his/her Nuff Nuff Data plan.
  • If both the d’Music Add-On plan and Nuff Nuff Data are exhausted, customers will be able to stream once they opt in to browse overage and will be charged from their main balance.

 

B.    Nuff Data and More Talk:

  • Customers will be able to have both the d’Music Add-On plan and Nuff Data & More Talk plan active at the same time.
  • If the d’Music Add-On plan data allotment is used first for d’Music streaming, and the d’Music Add-On data allotment is exhausted or the customer has a d’Music Add-On plan without data allotment, the customer will be charged from his/her Nuff Data and More Talk plan.
  • If both the d’Music Add-On plan, Nuff Data & More Talk plans allotment are exhausted, the customer will be able to stream once they opt in to browse overage and will be charged from their main balance.

C.    Quick Pick Bundle:

  • Customers will be able to have both the d’Music plans and Quick Pick Bundle active at the same time.
  • If the d’Music Add-On plan data allotment is used first for d’Music streaming, and the d’Music Add-On data allotment is exhausted or the customer has a d’Music Add-On plan without data allotment, the customer will be charged from his/her Quick Pick Bundle.
  • If both the d’Music Add-On plan and Quick Pick Bundle plans allotment are exhausted, the customer will be able to stream once they opt in to browse overage and will be charged from their main balance.

 

D.    Data Nights:

  • Customers will be able to have both the d’Music plans and Data Nights active at the same time.
  • If the d’Music Add-On plan data allotment is used first for d’Music streaming, and the d’Music Add-On data allotment is exhausted or the customer has a d’Music Add-On plan without data allotment, the customer will be charged from his/her Data Nights.
  • If both the d’Music Add-On plan and Data Nights allotment are exhausted, the customer will be able to stream once they opt in to browse overage and will be charged from their main balance.

 

E.    MiFi Plans:

  • Customers will be able to have both the d’Music plans and MiFi Plans active at the same time.
  • If the d’Music Add-On plan data allotment is used first for d’Music streaming, and the d’Music Add-On data allotment is exhausted or the customer has a d’Music Add-On plan without data allotment, the customer will be charged from his/her MiFi Plans.
  • If both the d’Music Add-On plan and MiFi Plans allotment are exhausted, the customer will be able to stream once they opt in to browse overage and will be charged from their main balance.
