This Christmas Promotion” (the “Promotion”) frequently asked Questions (“FAQ”) and Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in the Package for a chance to win weekly prizes and take advantage of a special discounted offer. You should read these FAQs and Terms carefully before participating in the Package.

 

“We” or “us” means Digicel Group Limited, a company registered under the laws of Barbados with registered offices 2^nd Floor, William Tower, William Industries Complex, Warrens, St. Michael.  References to “we”, “our” and “us” in these Terms also includes our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) from time to time.

 

“I” or “You” means the person participating in the Promotion (and “my” and “your” shall have the same meaning).

 

By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms, you should stop participating in the Promotion immediately.

2.     What is the promotional period for the Promotion?

The promotion is valid from Saturday, December 3^rd, 2022 12:00:01AM through to Saturday January 7^th, 2023 11:59:59PM or while stocks last.

 

3.     Who is eligible to enter the Promotion?

    Prepaid Customer:

            1.     As a Prepaid customer you must activate a 7 Day or higher plan and get a DL4 Smartphone as low as $199.

 

    Postpaid Customer:

            1.     As a postpaid customer, once you activate a new Postpaid Prime plan priced at $170 with a 24 month Contract or you are a migrating customer and activate any Postpaid Prime Bundle plan you will receive a free Samsung A23 smartphone once you are eligible.

            2.     As a postpaid customer, once you activate a new Postpaid Prime plan priced at $100 with a 24 month Contract or you are a migrating customer and activate any Postpaid Prime Bundle plan you will receive a free Samsung A03 smartphone once you are eligible.

 

    Digicel+ Customer:

                 As a Digicel+ customer once you sign up for a Variety Home Fibre Bundle 250 Broadband service and get it at the special price of $140.

The Following customers are excluded from participating in the Promotion:

                    a.     Postpaid Corporate & Business account customers;

                    b.     Persons under the age 18 years;

                    c.      Digicel Employees and family members.

 

4.     How do I participate in the Promotion?

It’s simple!  In order to be eligible for the Promotion as a Prepaid customer:

 

            ·       Activate a Prime Plan 7D & above and get a smartphone as low as $199

            ·       Purchase the DL4 smartphone

            ·       New or Migrating Postpaid customer (Pre to Post) once you activate a new Postpaid Prime plan priced at:

                        o   $170 you get the Samsung A23 Free with a 24 month Contract

                        o   $100 you get the Samsung A03 Free with a 24 month Contract

            ·       As a Digicel+ customer once you sign up for the Fibre 250 Broadband service you will receive the service at the special price of $140.

 

5.     How many select handsets am I allowed to purchase within the promotional period?

You will be allowed to purchase a maximum of two handsets under this special offer.

 

6.     Where will the selected smartphones be available for purchase?

Customers can purchase these Hero handsets from any of the below retail locations or through a Direct Sales Agent:

            a.     Colonnade Mall, Bridgetown

            b.     Dome Mall, Warrens

            c.      Sky Mall, Haggatt Hall, and

            d.     Sheraton Mall, Sargeant’s Village.

 

7.     How do I sign up for the Handset Promotion?

You may visit any of our Retail Outlets to sign up with an agent or sign up through a Direct Sales Agent.

 

 

Additional Terms and Conditions

A.     This Promotion is offered for your personal use and not for commercial use and you agree not to sell any rewards redeemed through this Promotion.

 

B.      We reserve the right to disqualify you or terminate this offer if, in our sole opinion, the Promotion is being abused, such abuse to include but not be limited to selling or attempts to sell the prizes, whether on a commercial basis or otherwise, general abuse deemed as an attempt to undermine the integrity of our services.

 

C.     You are solely responsible for all associated fees and costs incurred by you for redemption of Other Prizes and for connectivity and data usage in relation to your use of the App. Be reminded that once roaming, you will not be able to use any data from your local prepaid or select postpaid plans.

 

D.     The selected winners must have complied with these Terms and Conditions to enter and be on an active, qualifying contract with no accounts held with Digicel being in arrears to be eligible to win the prizes.

 

E.      We reserve the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily), this Promotion being offered to you at our discretion.

 

F.      If a prize is unavailable, we may, in our discretion, substitute the prize with an alternative prize to the equal value and/or specification.

 

G.    Prizes are not exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash.

 

H.     We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Digicel website or the App. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.

 

I.        Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely for the purposes of this promotion by Digicel and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the promotion on behalf of the Digicel and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose without the individual’s prior consent. By entering this Promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data by Digicel and/or any agent appointed by it to assist with running the promotion for the purposes of administration of the promotion (including publishing your full name and county and/or disclosing it to third parties on request if you are the winner) and any other purposes to which you have consented.
