Terms & Conditions

These “Christmas Handset and Top-Up Promotion” (the “Promotion”) Frequently asked Questions (“FAQ”) and Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in the Promotion for a chance to win weekly prizes when you top-up $20 or more and a take advantage of a special bundle offer with the Digicel DL3 handse. You should read these FAQs and Terms carefully before participating in the Promotion.

“We” or “us” means Digicel Group Limited, a company registered under the laws of Barbados with the registered offices at Clarendon House, 2 Church Street, Hamilton HM11, Bermuda. References to “we”, “our” and “us” in these Terms also includes our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) from time to time.

“I” or “You” means the person participating in the Promotion (and “my” and “your” shall have the same meaning).

By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms, you should stop participating in the Promotion immediately.


1.      What is the “From Digicel with Love Handset Promotion”?

Digicel is offering its prepaid customers the opportunity to receive a free 7 day prepaid bundle with every purchase of a Digicel DL3 smartphone along with a sim card.

Postpaid customers TBC regular retail price with activation of any postpaid Freedom plan.

In addition to the handset promotion, prepaid customers will receive a chance to win weekly prizes when they top-up with $20 or more.

2.      What is the promotional period for the Promotion?

The promotion is valid from February, 4th, 2020 12:00:01AM through to March 7th, 2020 11:59:59PM or while stocks last.

3.      Who is eligible to enter the Promotion?

As a prepaid customer, when you must purchase a Digicel DL3 smartphone and a sim card for BDD $149.00 you will receive a Free 7 day prepaid bundle.

As a postpaid customer, once you activate a new Freedom Postpaid plan you are eligible to receive a TBC.

The following customers are excluded from participating in the Handset Promotion:

a.      Postpaid Corporate & Business account customers;

b.      Persons under the age 18 years.

You receive even more when you top-up with $20 or more. You will be eligible for a chance to win weekly prizes through our top-up promotion.


4.      How many select handsets am I allowed to purchase within the promotional period?

You will be allowed to purchase a maximum of two handsets under this special offer.

5.      How many times am I able to qualify for a chance to win weekly prizes in the top-up promotion?

There are no limits to the amount of time you are able to qualify for a chance to win, as long as you top-up $20 or more during the promotional period you qualify.

6.      How do I participate in the handset promotion?

It’s simple! Purchase a Digicel DL3 smartphone from any of the retail locations stated in Clause 10 along with a prepaid sim card and receive a free Get More 7 day bundle and a chance to win a weekly prize (see Shake It  Promotion for more information).

Postpaid customers must activate any Freedom postpaid plan in order to TBC smartphone purchased.

7.      When will I receive the free prepaid Get More 7 day bundle plan?

With each purchase of a DL3, the retail agent must activate the free bundle plan on your new handset. If you choose not to allow the agent to complete this action at the time of purchase, you will forfeit your free bundle plan along with a chance to win a weekly prize

8.   Where will the DL3 smartphone be available for purchase?

Customers can purchase the Digicel DL3 from any of the below retail locations:

a.      Colonnade Mall, Bridgetown

b.      Dome Mall, Warrens

c.      Sky Mall, Haggatt Hall, and

d.      Sheraton Mall, Sargeant’s Village.


Additional Terms and Conditions

A.     This Promotion is offered for your personal use and not for commercial use.

B.      We reserve the right to disqualify you or terminate this offer if, in our sole opinion, the Promotion is being abused.

C.     We reserve the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily), this Promotion being offered to you at our discretion.

D.     We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Digicel website or the App. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.

E.      Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely for the purposes of this promotion by Digicel and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the promotion on behalf of Digicel and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose without the individual’s prior consent. By entering this Promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data by Digicel and/or any agent appointed by it to assist with running the promotion for the purposes of administration of the promotion (including publishing your full name and county and/or disclosing it to third parties on request if you are the winner) and any other purposes to which you have consented. F.      All entrants agree to take part in any promotional, marketing or publicity activities or events reasonably requested by Digicel.  By participating in the Promotion, entrants consent to the use of their name, likeness, image, photograph for any and all programming and/or publicity or advertising purposes, commercial or otherwise, in all media and formats used by Digicel’s or its agencies, without further compensation, throughout the entire world in perpetuity. If a winner refuses to do so, they forfeit their right to claim the prize. 

G.    In addition to these Terms and Conditions, you remain bound by our My Digicel App Terms and Conditions of Use.
