These Digicel+ Summer Promotion (the “Promotion”) Frequently asked Questions (“FAQ”) and Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in the Promotion for a chance to win 1 of 2 Play Station 5 and $150.00 in credit towards the purchase of games. You should read these FAQs and Terms carefully before participating in the Promotion.

“We” or “us” means Digicel Group Limited, a company registered under the laws of Barbados with registered offices 2nd Floor, William Tower, William Industries Complex, Warrens, St. Michael.  References to “we”, “our” and “us” in these Terms also includes our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) from time to time.

“I” or “You” means the person participating in the Promotion (and “my” and “your” shall have the same meaning).

By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms, you should stop participating in the Promotion immediately.

 

 

1. What Digicel+ Promotions are available for the summer?

Digicel is offering more this Summer to new Digicel+ subscribers!

 

New subscribers who sign up for the Digicel+ package, will have an opportunity to win 1 of 2 Play Station 5s and $150.00 credit towards purchasing games. In addition, customers will receive:

·       FREE Installation

·       Free Smart Wifi starter kit for 6 months

 

2. What is the Promotion period?

·       The Summer Promotion is valid from July 7th to August 31st 2022.

 

3. Who is eligible to enter the Promotion?

·       In order to be eligible for this Promotion, you must subscribe to a new Digicel+ package

 

 

4. The following customers are excluded from participating in the Promotion

·       Persons under the age 18 years.

·       Existing customers who are upgrading/downgrading their packages.

·       Existing customers who are not subscribing to a new service.

 

5. How do I participate in the Summer Promotion?

·       It’s simple! Sign up for Digicel+ package and get installed, that’s it!

 

 

6. What package do I need to sign up for to be eligible for the prizes?

·       Whether it is broadband only, a bundle or TV only, you are eligible to enter the competition.

 

 

7.  Can I disconnect my current Digicel+ service and reapply in order to qualify for the discounted price?

·       No you may not.

 

 

8. Will I be required to sign an agreement for Digicel+ service

·       Yes. Customers will be required to enter a 12 months service agreement with Digicel+

 

 

9. Can I combine this offer with another Digicel+ offer?

·       This offer cannot be combined with any other Digicel+ offer.

 

10.  How do I sign up for a new Digicel+ service?

·       You may speak with a Direct Sales Agent in your neighborhood, visit a Digicel Retail Store or call 530-7529 to speak with a Telesales Agent who will be happy to assist you.

 

11.  What happens after the twelve(12) months period has elapsed?

·       After the 12 months period your contract will remain in place unless terminated by either party.

 

 

12.  Is there any disconnection Fee if I choose to disconnect this service before the end of the 12 months?

·       An early termination charge is applicable if the service is disconnected within the stipulated contractual term of twelve (12) months however we know that you will not disconnect.

 

13.  Will I qualify for a free TV add-on if I subscribe to this package?

·       No you will not, however we will be happy to discuss the best value option from our other Digicel+ service offerings.

 

14.  Will I qualify for the promotion if I sign up for a new service but I do not get installed?

·       You will not qualify for the promotion if you sign up for a new service but do not get installed.

 

15.  How long do I have to wait to get installed after signing up for this offer  

·       Installation times vary, however we aim to install within 2-3 business days.

16.  Will I be required to pay for the Smart Wifi starter kit after the six(6) Free months has ended?

·       Yes, you will be automatically charged following the six(6) Free months period.

17.  Can I choose to disconnect the Smart Wifi starter kit earlier than six(6) months?

·       Yes you may disconnect prior to 6 months.

 

Additional Terms and Conditions

 

A.      This Promotion is offered for your personal use and not for commercial use.

 

B.      We reserve the right to disqualify you or terminate this offer if, in our sole opinion, the Promotion is being abused.

 

C.      We reserve the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily), this Promotion being offered to you at our discretion.

 

D.     We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Package, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Digicel website or the App. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.

 

E.      Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely for the purposes of this Promotion by Digicel and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion on behalf of Digicel and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose without the individual’s prior consent. By entering this Promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data by Digicel and/or any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion for the purposes of administration of the Promotion (including publishing your full name and county and/or disclosing it to third parties on request if you are the winner) and any other purposes to which you have consented. F.      All entrants agree to take part in any Promotion, marketing or publicity activities or events reasonably requested by Digicel.  By participating in the Promotion, entrants consent to the use of their name, likeness, image, photograph for any and all programming and/or publicity or advertising purposes, commercial or otherwise, in all media and formats used by Digicel’s or its agencies, without further compensation, throughout the entire world in perpetuity. If a winner refuses to do so, they forfeit their right to claim the prize. 

 

G.     In addition to these Terms and Conditions, you remain bound by our My Digicel App Terms and Conditions of Use.
