These Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to Digicel’s Real Connections Real Rewards Campaign. We encourage You to carefully review these FAQs and Terms before purchasing a plan under this offer.

SUMMARY

1.      DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION

In these Promotional Terms and Conditions (“Terms”):

1.1.  “Digicel” means Digicel Barbados Limited

1.2.  “Customer” or “You” means an individual over the age of 18 who is a legal resident of Barbados who meets the Eligibility Criteria.

1.3.  “Group” means Digicel and its affiliates, subsidiaries, and related entities.

1.4.  “Promotion” means the offer described in Clause 3.

1.5.  “Promotion Period” means the period outlined in Clause 3.3

1.6.  “Qualifying Activities” means the activities listed under Clause 3.1.

1.7.  “Prize(s)” means the list of goods or services offered under clause 3.2.

1.8.  “Commitment Period” means a minimum period of twelve (12) months from activation of the Qualifying Plan.

 

2.      ELIGIBILITY

2.1.  This Promotion is available to Customers who:

2.1.1.     Are Prepaid Customers

2.1.2.     Postpaid Customers (New, Switching or upgrading)

2.1.3.     Digicel+ Customers

2.2.  Existing customers, upgrades, migrations, and port-ins are not eligible, unless otherwise expressly approved by Digicel.

2.3.  The Promotion is subject to credit approval, service availability, and device availability.

 

3.      PROMOTIONAL OFFER

3.1. To participate in the promotion Customers must do the following Qualifying Activities:

3.1.1.     For Prepaid Customers they must activate a:

a)      7- Day Prime Bundle;

b)     14 – Day Prime Bundle; or a

c)      30 – Day Prime Bundle


3.1.2.     For Postpaid Customers they must either:

a)      Switch from another mobile provider to Digicel Postpaid;

b)     Upgrade from Prepaid to Postpaid; or 

c)      Upgrade an existing Postpaid plan to:

(i)      Hastings Flex; or

(ii)    Bridgetown Plus (or higher)


3.1.3.     For Digicel+ Customers, they must either:

a)      Sign up for Digicel+ Fibre 400;

b)     Sign up for Digicel+ Classic Bundle; or

c)      Switch from another provider to Digicel+


3.2. Available Prizes

3.2.1.     Eligible Customers can have the opportunity to benefit from several prizes offered under this promotion.

3.2.2.     The prizes include the following:

3.2.2.1.          For Prepaid participants who activate a:

a)      7‑Day Bundle, they have a chance to win weekly fuel voucher draws.

b)     14‑Day Bundle, they have a chance to win monthly Samsung Galaxy S25 draws.

c)      30‑Day Bundle they have a chance to win monthly iPhone 17 draws.

3.2.2.2.          For Postpaid participants who:

3.2.2.2.1.               Switch to Digicel Postpaid, they may be eligible for the $5,000 Grand Prize.

3.2.2.2.2.               Upgrade from Prepaid to Postpaid they may win monthly iPhone 17 draws.

3.2.2.3.          For Digicel+ participants who:

3.2.2.3.1.               Switch to Digicel+, they may win a Quarterly $1,000 cash draw

3.2.2.3.2.               Sign up for Fibre 400 or Classic Bundle, they may win Samsung Smart TV draws.

3.3.  Promotional Period

3.3.1.     The promotion shall be live during the dates and times below:

3.4. Raffle Draws

3.4.1.     Only Qualifying Activities successfully completed and recorded by Digicel within the Promotional Period shall be eligible for entries into any draw under this Promotion.

3.4.2.     Digicel reserves the right to conduct prize draws after the close of the Promotional Period, provided that:

a)      All entries were earned during the Promotional Period; and

b)     No new entries will be accepted after the end of the Promotional Period.

3.4.3.     The scheduling of any draw after the Promotional Period shall not extend, reopen, or modify the Promotional Period itself.

3.4.4.     One (1) BDS $5,000 cash Grand Prize shall be awarded under this Promotion.

3.4.5.     The Grand Prize draw shall take place after the conclusion of the Promotional Period, on a date determined by Digicel and communicated publicly via radio and/or digital channels.

 

3.4.6.     Weekly Draws: Weekly prize draws shall be conducted during the Promotional Period. Winners of the weekly draws will be announced live on radio during designated promotional segments aired on HITZ 106.7FM every Tuesday and Thursday between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. Weekly draws are applicable to customers who qualify through 7‑Day Bundle activations, and only such customers shall be eligible to win weekly prizes associated with 7‑Day Bundles.

 

3.4.7.     Monthly Draws: Monthly prize draws shall be conducted for eligible entries earned during each calendar month of the Promotional Period. Monthly draws shall include entries from customers who qualify through any of the following activities:

a)      Activation of a 14 Day Bundle;

b)     Activation of a 30 Day Bundle;

c)      Postpaid upgrades or switchers; and

d)     Digicel+ activations.

Each entrant shall only be eligible for prizes associated with the qualifying activity completed. Monthly drawing dates and announcements shall be determined by Digicel and communicated via its official marketing channels.

 

3.4.8.     Grand Prize: One (1) BDS $5,000 cash Grand Prize shall be awarded under this Promotion. The Grand Prize winner shall be selected at the end of the Promotional Period from all eligible entries that qualify for the Grand Prize category in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Only entries submitted and recorded during the Promotional Period shall be eligible for the Grand Prize draw.

3.4.9.     Winners will be announced via radio broadcast on HITZ 106.7FM every Tuesday and Thursday between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.

3.4.10.By participating in the Promotion, entrants consent to being contacted live on radio and, if selected, to their name being announced on‑air and through Digicel’s official marketing channels.

3.4.11.Any references to earlier Grand Prize draw dates in marketing materials, schedules, or tables are superseded by this clause.

3.4.12.Entries not selected as the Grand Prize winner shall not roll over into any future promotions.

3.4.13.All winners under this Promotion, including the Grand Prize winner, shall be selected through Digicel Group’s approved random raffle management system.

3.4.14.Selected winners will be contacted live on‑air during a promotional radio broadcast using the phone number associated with the qualifying account.

3.4.15.Winners can authorise someone to collect the prize on their behalf. The person collecting on the winner’s behalf will be required to present the following to the Digicel Head Office:

·       A signed authorization letter

·       A copy of the winner’s government-issued ID

·       The representative’s valid government-issued ID


3.4.16.If a selected winner:

a)      Does not answer the call; and

b)     Cannot be reached after two (2) call attempts during the live broadcast,

the selected winner shall be deemed to have forfeited the prize, and an alternate winner shall be drawn immediately or at a later time, at Digicel’s discretion.

4.      COMMITMENT AND BILLING

4.1.  Customers must maintain any plans, or ser

4.2.  Standard monthly recurring charges, taxes, fees, and any applicable usage charges shall apply in accordance with the Customer Agreement.

 

5.      DEVICE TERMS

5.1.  If any Prizes under this Promotion shall be a handset or any other electronic device, the Customer understands and agrees that these devices are subject to availability while stocks last.

5.2.  Digicel reserves the right to but is not obligated to substitute Prizes with similar models of equal or greater value at our sole discretion.

5.3.  Risk in the Prize immediately passes to the Customer upon receipt of it.

5.4.  Manufacturer warranties shall apply to all devices and Digicel provides no additional warranties except as required by law.

 

6.      EARLY TERMINATION AND CLAWBACK

6.1.  If a Customer:
(a) terminates the Qualifying Plan before the end of the Commitment Period;
(b) downgrades to a non-qualifying plan; or
(c) is suspended or disconnected due to breach of these terms or any other Digicel terms and conditions,

 

6.2.  Digicel reserves the right to:
(i) charge an early termination fee;
(ii) recover the full retail value (or pro-rated value) of any Device provided under this Promotion; and/or
(iii) apply any outstanding charges to the Customer’s account immediately.

 

7.      LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

7.1.  All Prizes, rewards or benefits under the Promotion:
(a) are non-transferable; and
(b) are not redeemable for cash or credit of any kind.

7.2.  A Customer shall be eligible to receive the benefit or a Prize under this Promotion once only during the Promotion Period.

7.3.  For the avoidance of doubt, a Customer shall not be entitled to receive the Promotion more than once, whether through:
(a) multiple accounts;
(b) accounts held individually or jointly; or
(c) any combination of accounts associated with the same Customer.

 

7.4.  Digicel reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether multiple accounts are associated with the same Customer, including where accounts share common identifiers such as name, contact details, identification information, billing details, or address.

7.5.  Where a Customer is found to have received or attempted to receive multiple benefits or Prizes in breach of this clause, Digicel reserves the right to:

a)      refuse to grant additional benefits;

b)     withdraw or reverse any improperly granted benefits; and/or

c)      recover the value of any benefits already applied.

 

8.      FRAUD, MISUSE, AND DISQUALIFICATION

8.1.  Digicel reserves the right to disqualify any Customer who:
(a) provides false or misleading information;
(b) attempts to manipulate or abuse the Promotion; or
(c) breaches any applicable agreement.

8.2.  In such cases, Digicel may recover any benefits granted, or suspend the Customer’s Digicel account.

 

9.      AMENDMENTS AND WITHDRAWAL

9.1.  Digicel reserves the right to modify, suspend, or withdraw the Promotion at any time. In the event of Digicel giving notice to You of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for us to give You notice via messages to Your handset/device or to post such notification on the Digicel website or the App. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.

9.2.  Any such changes shall not affect Customers who have already qualified for and been granted the Promotion, except where required by law or in cases of fraud or error.

 

10. LIABILITY

10.1.                   To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digicel shall not be liable for:
(a) any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss suffered by Customers participating in this Promotion; or
(b) delays or failure in performance due to events beyond its reasonable control.

10.2.                   To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the total and aggregate liability of Digicel arising out of or in connection with this Promotion, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, shall be strictly limited to an amount equal to the value of the Qualifying Plan chosen by the Customer under this Promotion. The participant’s sole and exclusive remedy in respect of any claim, loss, or damage arising out of or in connection with the Promotion shall be a refund of such amount.

10.3.                   Customers participate in this Promotion voluntarily and at their own expense and risk and Digicel shall not be liable for any

 

11. DATA PROTECTION

11.1.                   The Customer’s personal data will be processed in accordance with Digicel’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

11.2.                   Any personal data relating to customers will be used solely for the purposes of this Promotion by Digicel and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion on behalf of the Digicel and will not be disclosed to a third party for any other purpose without the individual’s prior consent. By entering this Promotion, You consent to the use of Your personal data by Digicel and/or any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion for the purposes of administration of the Promotion (including publishing Your full name and county and/or disclosing it to third parties on request if You are the winner) and any other purposes to which You have consented. 12. GOVERNING TERMS AND LAW

12.1.                   These Terms shall be read together with Digicel ’s standard customer terms and conditions, which shall prevail in the event of inconsistency.

12.2.                   These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Barbados.  

 

13. GENERAL

13.1.                   If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13.2.                   No failure or delay by Digicel in exercising any right shall constitute a waiver of that right.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with this Promotion or these Terms (a “Dispute”) shall first be referred to Digicel ’s customer care team for good
