Digicel offers roaming for all our customers, whether you’re a prepaid customer or a postpaid customer when you are travelling outside of your home country. Digicel’s roaming allows you to make and receive calls, send and receive SMS and conduct data activities.
How do I Roam as a Prepaid Customer?
As a prepaid customer, please ensure that you top up your account with sufficient credit before you travel. If you attempt to make a call and you do not have sufficient credit, you will hear a ‘low balance’ tone and your call will not be connected. To check your balance while roaming, dial *142#.
How do I Roam as a Postpaid Customer?
As a postpaid customer, you will first need to ensure that your account is activated for roaming. If it is not activated, kindly pass by a store to have this activated . Also please make sure that your phone is roaming enabled. Network Selection in your handset and select ‘AUTOMATIC’ before you travel. Once you have reached your destination, switch your phone on and allow it to update and locate Digicel’s partner network in that country. Verify that data is on while roaming.
My handset does not pick up the network automatically once I’ve reached my destination. How do I fix that?
For some handset type, you might need to manually select the network. To do this, go to Menu Network Selection, select MANUAL then connect to the network.

To contact Customer Care while you are roaming, please dial +297740009.
How do I access my voicemail while roaming?
To access voicemail, dial +2977400000. Please note that checking your voicemail will incur roaming rates.
Will I be able to benefit from local promotions while roaming?
No. You will not be able to benefit from local promotions while roaming.
Does Digicel have a roaming plan and how does it work?
As a prepaid or postpaid customer, you can opt in to Digicel’s roaming rate plan for a subscription fee while roaming in the USA, The Netherlands, Colombia, Venezuela and the Caribbean . There are three plans available for you to choose from according to your length of stay and your usage to make/receive calls and to send/receive SMS.
