Academic qualifications and experience required for job:

  • Associate Degree (MBO level) 
  • Detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Office and excel. 
  • Well-developed written and communication skills. 
  • Customer service oriented 
  • Flexible

  • Detail oriented 
  • Strong Organizational skills

 

Functional Skills/Competencies:

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, Papiamento, Dutch and Spanish 
  • Must have analytical and reasoning skills in order to draw conclusions and work pro-actively 
  • Must be able to validate and interpret results 
  • Must be able to multi task and be accurate with administrative tasks

 

Internal/ External Contacts:

  • Internal contacts with Sales, Customer Care, Billing, HR, Marketing, Technical and Finance department
  • External contact with individuals and all business customers

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting any walk-in customer at the corporate desk in order to further help or notify the concerning department 
  • Assisting customers that call with issues in order to provide them with assistance, meaning you will need to have product knowledge
  • Support the service delivery department by calling customers to schedule visits for support and installations 
  • Receive shipments and distribute mail delivered at office to the concerning department 
  • Scan, typing, filing and faxing all necessary business documents 
  • Raise PO and get approval by the respective signees 
  • Carrying the Purchase Order books (i.e. General, Phones & Sims and the OECS) to Account Dept. to be stamped and approved. 
  • Gatekeeper for all office and car keys 
  • Arrange all post that needs to be submitted or delivered 
  • Have constant communication with FAST on delivery and pick up 
  • Maintain all administrative files of Digicel fleet up to date 
  • Schedule Digicel Fleet for carwash 
  • Prepare kitchen and office orders and when necessary, physically go shopping
  • Preparing the Daily Absence Report, having it approved and delivering it to HR. 
  • Delivering invoices to the Technical Dept. & Account Dept. for either the payment or delivery 
  • Maintaining that the printer and fax machine has paper etc. 
  • Ordering Business cards for the Corporate Sales Team 
  • Corresponding with suppliers in regards of payment.
  • Coordination and management of events
