Credit Me

Need to request Digicel credit from family or friends? If your prepaid balance is less than $3, you can use Credit Me to request credit from friends or family anywhere in the world with just one quick text message.

 

Here’s how to request credit from family or friends in Bonaire:

  1. Dial *127*5997, followed by the number of the person you’d like to request credit from

  2. Press *, enter the amount of credit you’d like to request followed by the # sign and press “Send ”.

    Example, to request $20 from 123456, dial *127*5997123456*20# then hit “Send”.

  3. The receiver will get a text message from your number requesting the amount of credit you entered.

 

To send Credit Me request to numbers outside Bonaire:

  1. Dial *127*, followed by the number of the person you’d like to request credit from, then dial *0# and press “Send”. 

    Example, to request credit from 17181234567, dial *127*17181234567*0# then hit “Send”.

  2. The receiver will get a text message from your number requesting the amount of credit you entered.

     

Note: Only Digicel prepaid customers can request credit via Credit Me. An account balance of less than $3 is required before you can request credit. You can request credit from any cell phone, anywhere in the world!

 

Credit U

Want to send credit to family and friends? Credit U lets you easily transfer credit from your postpaid or prepaid account to a friend or family member's prepaid account, all from your Digicel phone.

You can transfer from as low as USD 2 to a maximum of USD 100 in a given day.  You are able to send a maximum of 10 Credit U transactions daily.

 

Here’s how to share credit with friends & family with Credit U:

  1. Dial *128*5997, followed by the phone number of the person you’d like to transfer credit to.

  2. Enter the amount you want to send, followed by the “#” button, then press send.

    Example, to send USD 10 to 5997400506, you would dial *128*5997400506*10#  and press SEND

  3. After a moment you’ll receive a confirmation message; if the info appears correct, dial *128*1# to confirm or *128*2# to cancel your request.

  4. Once confirmed, both the credit sender and receiver will receive a confirmation message.

 

Need to check your account balance? Here’s how:

  1. Dial *142#

  2. Press “Send”

  3. Your current balance will appear on your phone’s screen


Note: Both Digicel prepaid and postpaid customers can send credit with Credit U, but only Digicel prepaid customers can receive credit via Credit U.

 

I attempted to send a Credit U transfer, but did not receive a confirmation message. What do I do?

If you did not receive a confirmation message that your Credit U transfer was successful, check your account balance by dialling *142# before attempting to send it again.    

 

Can I use my Credit U transfer credit to activate a data plan?        

Yes. Any credit that is on your Main Account can be used to activate data plans. 

Credit Advance

How does the CREDIT ADVANCE service work?

As a prepaid customer, CREDIT ADVANCE allows you to access credit loan amounts from as low as USD 2.00 to a maximum of  USD 6.00 for a fixed loan fee of 10% of the loan amount. To request a CREDIT ADVANCE amount, simply dial *170#.

 

What is the amount of the credit advance allowance and its fee?

How do I qualify for the CREDIT ADVANCE service?           

When customer reaches zero balance they have the opportunity to get credit allowance to make voice calls. To check if you are eligible for the CREDIT ADVANCE service, please dial *142#.

 

How do I repay my CREDIT ADVANCE?    

Repayment of your CREDIT ADVANCE is done at your next top up or via Credit U transfer received. DataFlex top ups do not qualify for CREDIT ADVANCE repayment.

 

How can I sign up for or request a CREDIT ADVANCE?       

To sign up to access our CREDIT ADVANCE service, please dial *170#.

 

How do I check my CREDIT ADVANCE balance?  

To check your CREDIT ADVANCE balance, dial *170# then select the option, “Get Loan Balance” from the CREDIT ADVANCE menu. You can also use the *170# code to access your CREDIT ADVANCE balance.
