What is PlayGo?

PlayGo is Digicel’s latest online streaming service that gives you access to premium 17 of the best live local and premium TV channels and more than 3000 On Demand content so you can enjoy your favorite sports and watch the most popular TV shows from your smartphone, tablet or laptop with 3G/4G or Wi-Fi connection.

What can I watch on PlayGo?

PlayGo streams live sports, top quality TV shows and movies on channels including SportsMax 1 & 2, NBA TV, Fight Sports, Catch & Catch 2 and Revolt smoothly over the internet. Watch out for even more entertainment coming soon.

Can I stream in HD?

Yes! All our channels are in brilliant HD if you are connected via Wi-Fi and importantly, if your internet connection is strong enough to support the HD quality. If you are accessing using the mobile network, we allow up to 464 kbps to deliver a good quality in your mobile with a low data usage. Enjoy live sports how it should be – seeing every little detail on the pitch, court or ice rink.

Who can use PlayGo?

PlayGo is for everyone! You can access by downloading the app from the Google Play Store or Apple Store. It will be available regardless of who your current mobile provider is. The following options are available for you to enjoy this service:

1. Start a FREE trial which includes a 14-days subscription. When trial period has expired, you may select options 2 or 3.

2. Purchase a standalone unlimited 30 days subscription for USD 4.99 – includes no data allotment.

3. Get the best value out of your pocket with FREE 1 hour PlayGo access daily when you activate a Quick Pick Bundle. FREE 1 hour PlayGo access is daily for the duration of your bundle. Only Digicel customers are able to activate a Quick Pick Plan.

How do I get PlayGo?

Get PlayGo from our website or visit the “More Apps” section on My Digicel App.

For Android simply download it from the Google Play store, iOS users can download directly from the Apple Store!  Just search for PlayGo and click Install.

Follow these steps to use the app:

Over Mobile Network

Step 1. Open the PlayGo app on your device

Step 2. The app will sign you in automatically over the mobile network

Step 3. Enjoy the service

Over Wi-Fi connection

Step 1. Open the PlayGo app on your device

Step 2. The app will ask for your Digicel ID. New users will be required to create an ID as shown below.

Step 3. Start using the service

How does PlayGo work?

The PlayGo App is subscription with your Quick Pick bundles. If you are not a Quick Pick user and you want to buy a Playgo subscription,  you can get 14 DAYS FREE TRIAL. After your 14 days free trial period, you will be able to continue the viewership for a subscription.

Where is PlayGo available?

We’ve got you covered! PlayGo is available across the Caribbean and Central America in Anguilla, Antigua, Aruba, Barbados, Bermuda, Bonaire, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Curacao, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Montserrat, Panama, St Kitts, St Lucia, St Vincent, Trinidad, Turks and Caicos!

What is the required internet connection speed?

PlayGo is clever. If your speed is not as you would like, don’t worry – PlayGo will adapt to give you the best experience for your internet speed. For best quality, optimal internet connection speed is required. If you are in the mobile network, we optimize the service to 464 kbps to deliver a great experience to your device protecting your data consumption.

Do I enter a lengthy contract with PlayGo?

No. Your subscription lasts for the period of your applicable Entertainment Pass once you’re on an active Quick Pick bundle.  If you are not in a Quick Pick bundle, you can always buy Playgo subscription for 30 days.

Am I able to use PlayGo with Wi-Fi connection?

Yes however, you are required to purchase a subscription or to have a Quick Pick bundle active.

What devices can I use to stream PlayGo?

PlayGo is available on your Android Phone, iPhone, iPad and Android tablets. Prefer binge-watching on a slightly bigger screen. This is coming soon – stay tuned!

What is the minimum requirement for my devices?

We try really hard to make our technology as slick as possible but we do have some essentials:

Android Devices - Android OS 4.1 and above

Apple iOS Devices for iPad and iPhone - iOS 8.0 and above

As a general rule if your device was purchased within the last three (3) years it should be compatible.

We are working hard to bring this product to Big Screens in the near future.

How do I use PlayGo on my computer or laptop?

Simply navigate to click on the direct download link and follow the setup instructions.

How do I install the PlayGo App on my phone?

It couldn’t be simpler:

Step 1. From your mobile device navigate to the Play Store or Apple Store.

Step 2. Click on “INSTALL”

Step 3. Wait while the application is downloaded & Installed on your device

Step 4. Open PlayGo on your device

Step 5. Sign in with your Digicel ID details if you are in WiFi or if you are in the mobile network you can access automatically

Step 6. Watch TV!

Please note you can download and install the PlayGo App on multiple iOS or Android devices using the same Digicel ID and password; however, you can only stream on one device at a time. 

I don’t have a Digicel ID, what do I do?

If you don’t have a Digicel ID, simply click on the ‘Register’ option and follow the instructions. Connect with your Digicel ID/Sign Up for Digicel ID. If you use the mobile network to access Playgo, a Digicel ID will be created automatically associated to your phone number.

I am already a Digicel Play customer. Can I use PlayGo?

Yes – simply download the App in play store or App Store and activate any one of our Quick Pick Bundles.

How many devices can I use at the same time?

You can connect as many devices as you wish.  However, only one of these devices will be able to watch TV at the same time, so keep this in mind if you plan to share an account with your household. Several attempts to watch TV will result in an error message “Unable to login. Too many connections”. Once received, you are required to end any other active session and retry.

Can I use PlayGo when I travel?

Pass to PlayGo may only be viewed in the country where the customer subscribed to it. It doesn’t work when roaming in another country.

How will I know when to renew my subscription?

We’ve taken the hassle out of this too! As a PlayGo customer, we will let you know when it’s close to end of your subscription. If you are using a Quick Pick bundle, two notifications will be sent as reminders via Flash SMS and SMS. The first reminder will be sent once you have 5 minutes remaining of your 1 hour Free and the second notification will once there is 0 minutes remaining.

Can I download content to watch later?

Currently, content is only available to watch live but stay tuned for new developments in this space.

What content can I view as part of Quick Picks?

With a Quick Pick Bundle, you will have access to all the live channels and On Demand content available on PlayGo.  

I just bought a Quick Pick Bundle, how do I watch Live TV on PlayGo?

Firstly, make sure you have PlayGo and the My Digicel App downloaded on your mobile device. Then just sign in with your Digicel ID, (click here to create a new Digicel ID).

Once you sign into your Digicel ID, open the My Digicel App to view your Add-ons, then select ‘1 Hour Daily Free Playgo’ to activate your pass. After you have activated your pass, simply open the PlayGo App to begin streaming!

How often can I activate a free 1 HR PlayGo Entertainment Pass?

You can activate a free 1 HR PlayGo Entertainment Pass every day, once you have an active Quick Pick Bundle. Free 1 hour PlayGo Entertainment Pass expires at 11:59:59pm each day for the duration of your active Quick Pick Bundle.

PlayGo comes free with my Quick Pick bundle – but what about the data from using it? Do I have to pay extra for that?

There are no extra fees for using PlayGo, customers who buy any quick-pick bundle are able to enjoy 1 Hour daily free PlayGo. Once depleted, customers will have the option of purchasing an add-on for 1 extra hour or 1 day to continue enjoying PlayGo services at a very low cost.

What happens when my free 1 HR PlayGo daily Pass is finished?

When your free hour is finished, you will no longer have access to PlayGo. To continue streaming content, you may activate a new PlayGo Add-on for only fl.1.00 via the My Digicel App or *123#. You can also choose to use your Quick Pick bundle Data and continue enjoying your streaming experience.

How long does my free 1 hour PlayGo pass last?

Your free 1 hour PlayGo pass can be used anytime throughout the day. The free 1 hour PlayGo pass resets at midnight daily once your Quick Pick bundle is active.

How do I get more than 1 hour to enjoy PlayGo?

If you don’t want your streaming experience to end after an hour, you may activate a 1 Day PlayGo Entertainment Add-on for only fl.3.00 exclusively via the My Digicel

Can I activate the 1 HR/1Day PlayGo Entertainment Add-on using a short code e.g. *123#?

Yes, these Add-ons are available via the My Digicel App and *123*02#.

Can I activate the FREE 1 HR PlayGo Entertainment Pass using a short code e.g. *123#?

No, the 1HR Free Pass is only available via the My Digicel App

I have an active paid subscription for PlayGo and now I just signed up for a Quick Pick bundle, can I get a refund on my existing plan?

You may not be eligible for a refund, however, your new free subscription means that you will not be charged for the data used while your Quick Pick Bundle and PlayGo Entertainment Pass are active.

My Quick Pick Bundle has expired and I have not used my Free 1 HR PlayGo Entertainment Pass, can I still use it?

Unfortunately, once your Quick Pick Bundle expires access to your free 1 HR PlayGo Entertainment Pass also expires. To activate a new Quick Pick Prepaid Bundle simply dial short code *123# or visit the My Digicel App

If I purchase another Quick Pick Bundle before I have finished my free 1 HR PlayGo Entertainment Pass, will it rollover?

·         No; when you renew your Quick Pick Bundle or purchase a new one, your 1 hour daily pass will not rollover. However, your 1 hour daily pass will be renewed after every 24 hour period.

If I activate a non-Quick Pick plan/bundle after my Quick Picks Bundle expires, will the remaining minutes/hours from my PlayGo Entertainment Pass rollover?

No, rollover is only applicable to Quick Pick Bundles and Postpaid Select Plans.

I can’t remember my Digicel ID log in details.

Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered – just click on the ‘Did you forget your Password’ option on the webpage or in the App to reset your password.

I can’t access PlayGo and see an error stating ‘I am unable to login. Too many connections’.

Your subscription to PlayGo allows for 1 active connection to the service. If 2 people try to access the service at the same time, the 2nd will not be granted access as an active session is in progress.
