1.      What is the Double the Credit Double the Talk promotion?

·        As a prepaid customer, Double the Credit Double the Talk rewards you with bonus credit of up to 2x the value of your qualifying top up when you top up with a single top up of ECD $10 or more as your first top-up for the day.

·        To claim your bonus credit, simply dial *141# or go to MyDigicel app once you make a qualifying top up. Your bonus credit may be used to make calls to local, US/Canada numbers and UK landlines and is valid for 3 days, once claimed before midnight of the day you made the qualifying top up. 

 

2.      Who can participate in the Double the Credit Double the Talk promotion?

·        The Double the Credit Double the Talk promotion is available to all prepaid customers who top up with a single top-up of ECD $10 or more as your first top-up for the day. And since this is based on your first top-up for the day, it means that bonus is rewarded once per day.

 

3.      How many times can I get Double the Credit Double the Talk bonus in one day?

·        Bonus credit in Double the Credit Double the Talk is done based on your first qualifying top up for the day. Therefore bonus credit is offered only once per day as part of this promotion.

 

4.      How does the promotion work?

·        Once you top up with ECD $10 or more as your first top up for the day, you will automatically receive up to 2x the value of your qualifying top-up. The greater your top up value, the greater the bonus allotment received. See top up bonus categories for bonus credit offer below.

·        Bonus credit will cover calls to local Digicel, USA, Canada mobile and landline numbers & UK landline.

·        Bonus credit will be used before voice minutes on your Quick Pick bundle. When the bonus credit has expired or exhausted, charges will then be deducted from your Quick Pick bundle voice minutes.

·        The associated call taxes will be used from bonus credit.

 

5.      What can I use my bonus credit for?

·        The bonus credit can be used to make calls to local Digicel numbers, US, Canada numbers and UK landlines.

 

6.      How do I redeem my bonus credit on Double the Credit Double the Talk promotion?

·        Your bonus credit can be redeemed by dialing *141# or via MyDigicel app p.mydigicel.net.

-        Step 1. Dial *141#

-        Step 2. Select the option ‘Bonuses’

-        Step 3. Select the option ‘Double the Credit Double the Talk’

-        Step 4. Select the option ‘Claim now’

-        Step 5. You will receive a flash message and a text message advising, “You may now use your bonus to make calls to local Digicel, US/CAN numbers & UK landline for the next 3 days. Check your balance at a.mydigicel.net or dial *141#”, followed by another message, “Double the Credit Double the Talk’ is now active and that you can begin using it.”

 

Claiming through the My Digicel App

-        Step 1. Enter the My Digicel app main menu or go to p.mydigicel.net from your phone

-        Step 2. Go to ‘Claim My Bonus’

-        Step 3. Select “Claim Double the Credit Double the Talk credit” then choose “Activate” option.

-        You will then receive an activation SMS that confirms that your ‘Double the Credit Double the Talk’ is now active and that you can begin using it.

 

7.      Will the bonus credit be lost I do not redeemed it on the same day?

·        Yes. You will need to claim your bonus credit daily (on the day of your qualifying top up value before 11:59pm).

 

8.      Is there a maximum bonus threshold?

·        No. There is no restriction to the maximum amount you can top up with. You will be able to enjoy up to 2x the value of your top up once you meet the requirements of topping up with ECD $10 or more as your first single top up for the day.

 

9.      Will my bonus credit rollover?

·        Yes. Once your claim your bonus credit, it expires in 3 days. Example, if you top up before your current bonus allotment expires (during the 3 days), your credit validity will be extended to the expiry of the last bonus claimed. Therefore, you will keep your bonus balance along with the new bonus credit received.

 

10.   Will my bonus credit be reflected in my main balance?

·        No. You are required to dial *141# or visit My Digicel app to check bonus balance.

 

11.   How can I check my bonus credit balance?

·        Checking your bonus credit balance is easy. Simply dial*141# or go to MyDigicel app

12.   If I have other bonuses on my account, will the Double the Credit Double the Talk bonus credit be used first?

·        Yes.

 

13.   Can I transfer my bonus credit from this promotion to another number?

·        No. Bonus credit received through the Double the Credit Double the Talk promotion may not be transferred to another number/account.

 

14.   Will I be notified when my ‘Double the Credit Double the Talk’ bonus expires?

·        Yes. You will receive an expiry alert 8 hours before your bonus credit expires.

 

15.   Will I receive bonus credit every time I top up with ECD $10 or more?

·        No. Bonus credit in Double the Credit Double the talk is rewarded only on your first top up for the day providing it is a single top up of ECD $10 or more.

 

16.   If I top up more than once in a day and my second top up qualifies for a higher bonus amount, what bonus will I receive?

·        Bonus credit in Double the Credit Double the talk is rewarded only on your first top up for the day providing it is a single top up of ECD $10 or more.

 

17.   Will I be able to claim my bonus credit even if I’m not on a Quick Pick bundle?

·        Yes, even if you’re not on a Quick Pick Bundle, you will still be able to claim and enjoy your bonus credit from the Double the Credit Double the Talk offer.

 

18.   What top up methods are eligible for the Double the Credit Double the Talk Bonus Credit promotion?

·        Currently, only top ups done via USSD (*121#, *125#, phone to phone) and local retail top up will be valid for this offer. International & online top ups are not be eligible.

 

19.   If I have an active International Plan and Double the Credit Double the Talk bonus credit, which is used first when I make an International call to US, Canada or UK landline?

·        Your bonus credit will be used first. If your Double the Credit Double the Talk bonus credit is expired or exhausted, your international calls will be then charged from your International Plan.

 

20.   What is the rate to make calls using the Double the Credit Double the Talk bonus credit?

·        The rate to call local Digicel numbers using Double the Credit Double the Talk bonus credit is $0.65/min.

·        The rate to make international calls to US, Canada and UK landlines, using Double the Credit Double the Talk bonus credit is $1.04/min.
