1. What are the New Freedom plans?

•       NEW LTE Freedom Plans gives the SUPER-FAST LTE experience!! These bundles are the best mix of LTE data and talk with local minutes just for you!

3. How can I purchase a Freedom plan?

·         You can activate any of our newest Freedom bundles via the My Digicel App at, or by dialing *141# to access the prepaid service menu option 1 “NEW Freedom plans”.

4 .How will I know when my Freedom Plan is active?

•       You will receive a confirmation message to let you know that you're free to use your Freedom Plans, this message will also include the expiration date.

 5. Where can I call with my voice minutes?

•       You are able to call both local Digicel numbers and other local Networks

 6.  How do I check the balance of minutes and data on my NEW Freedom plans?

•       You have two ways:

•        Service Menu: *141# -  enter the “Balances” menu, then press 4 to enter the “Check Plan Balance” and expiry to see your available minutes and/or data balances.

•        My Digicel App – click on the app and go to ‘Accounts and Balances’.

 7. Can I roam with my Plan, and will I be able to use the available data and voice minutes?

•        No, you cannot use your freedom plans outside of the market.

 8. Can I use my Freedom plan together with another plan or Add- on?

•       Yes you can activate a freedom plan whiles on another plan

•       You will receive all the benefits of the new bundle and still be able to use both plans until each bundle expires on its own end-date.

9. How do I activate an Add-On?

•       You can activate an Add-On using the My Digicel App at or dial to our service menu at *141#.

10. Will my plans renew?

•       Yes. You will receive a notification 2 days and 1 day before Your Prepaid freedom plan expires advising that the plan will auto renew.

•       If at expiry you have sufficient credit, the plan will auto renew.

•       If you have insufficient credit at plan expiry the plan auto renewal will fail and the Prepaid LTE Plan ends.

•       You will also be able to opt out of auto-renewal via *141# or the My Digicel App or the My Digicel Web.

11. Can I upgrade or downgrade my Freedom plan?

•        Yes, you can upgrade/downgrade your plan through the My Digicel App or short code*141#

12. What happens to my unused mins/data if I don't activate/autorenew another plan?

•       You get to keep your unused minutes and data when you activate another Freedom Plan before midnight on the day of plan expiry

13. How will I know when my Freedom plan is expired?

•       You will know when your freedom plan is expiring prior to it’s end.

•       You will receive a notification to let you know that the plan will end soon and after it has expired.

14. Am I able to repurchase my Freedom plan after it has expired?

•       Yes, you will be able to repurchase your plan once it has expired

15. How many times can these bundles be activated?

As many times as you wish. As long as you have enough credit, you can choose a new Freedom plan, even while you have an existing plan or bundle. Voice and Data allotment will be accumulated and we will keep longest expiry date.

16. What happens when the megabytes in my Freedom plans are finished?

•       You'll receive a friendly text message giving you options to renew your Freedom plan or buy extra data (an Add-On).


17. Will I incur charges once my data is finished and my plan is still active?                 

•       If your data bundle is fully depleted (no more data remaining), any active data browsing will be charged a per MB rate of ECD $0.39/MB. A standard Pay As You Go rate of ECD $0.39/MB will only apply if you are not on one these bundles or if you do not have an active plan.                            


 18. If I am on a call within the duration of the Freedom Plan and it expires, what happens to my call?

If you are on a call and your Freedom plan expires, your call will not drop. However, you will be charged for the remaining portion of the call at Pago rates

Terms & conditions


The New Freedom Plans is offered for the personal use of individuals and not commercial use or usage by groups of individuals. Any usage at all by an individual that in Digicel’s sole discretion is intended for financial gain or profit by you or by groups of individuals will result in the immediate termination of this promotion.


 Digicel reserves the right to terminate your use of the NEW Freedom Plans forthwith without notice if in its sole opinion the promotion is being abused by you.


 Digicel reserves the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily) the NEW Freedom Plans being offered to its customer at its discretion.


 Digicel reserves the right to at any time, with or without the notice, to vary or cancel the terms and conditions of its New Freedom Plans. In the event of Digicel giving notice to customers of any such changes to or cancellation of the NEW Freedom Plans it shall suffice for Digicel to give customers notice via messages to customer’s handset/device or to post such notification on Digicel’s website.


Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notification. Customers should be solely responsible for keeping their mobile handset properly secured and for all activations and other activities that occur on or through their mobile handsets. Any request made via the use of a USSD code from a mobile handset shall be deemed a legitimate request from the customer to whom the said mobile handset is registered. Digicel shall not be responsible for any losses arising out of the unauthorized use of a customer’s handset.
