How do this promotion work?

Very easy! Customers who sign-up for a Postpaid plan or, if who are existing customers to one of our Postpaid More and Extra plans will get the free upgrade to the next best plan for 3 months and enjoy more data and talk.

Is this promotion available to all customers?

Yes, any customer can sign up for this promotion. Both existing and new customers can sign up to get a free upgrade of a postpaid plan by visiting an authorized Digicel store and signing the required contract.

 

Where can I sign up to sign up to the promotion?

Postpaid plan activation/upgrade has to be completed at an authorized Digicel/Dealer store.

 

What documentation do I need to sign up for a postpaid plan?

To activate a Postpaid account, customers are required to provide the following documentation:

  • A valid form of government issued ID;
  • Proof of residence (preferably a utility bill); and
  • The deposit for the plan of choice

 

Is there any length of contract required to enroll to a higher plan without extra cost for 3 months?

Yes. A 24 months contract is required to receive the first 3 months’ price discount.

 

How will my discount will be shown in my bill?

The discount will be shown in the monthly bill as “Christmas upgrade discount”.

 

What will happen once I finished my 3 months discount period?

You will be automatically switched back to the plan you signed up for which means less data and less talk

 

Will I be able to switch from a lower plan to a higher one?

Once you have activated and signed your contract for any postpaid plan, you will be able to come into store and switch to the better value plan that you were using for the past 3 months

 

With this promotion will I still enjoy the rollover of unused data and talk?

Yes, as many times as you have left over data and talk and as long as your account bill is paid in full and on time.

 

 

Digicel reserves the right to at any time to vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion or to withdraw this Promotion. In any of these events notice will be given via media advertisements or messages to subscribers and will be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.

Customers should be solely responsible for keeping their mobile handset properly secured and for all activations and other activities that occur on or through their mobile handsets. Any request made via the use of a USSD code from a mobile handset shall be deemed a legitimate request from the customer to whom the said mobile handset is registered. Digicel shall not be responsible for any losses arising out of the unauthorized use of a customer’s handset.

By entering into this promotion, the customer understands that Digicel may collect and process the customer’s personal information which include the customer’s name, telephone number, home address and any other information that is necessary in connection with the promotion. The Customer also understands that he/she may be required to participate in any planned publicity in connection with this promotion which may include the use of his/her name, likeness, image, photograph on Social Media advertising without further compensation, throughout the entire world in perpetuity. Furthermore, by entering into this promotion, the Customer irrevocably consents to the collection, use, storage, transfer and disclosure of his/her personal data by Digicel for the purposes of this promotion.
